Recently I got a permanent ban for the "use of scripts, hacks, exploits or unauthorized third-party programs in League of Legends." even though I haven't ever used any scripts,hacks, exploits, or unauthorized third-party programs. The only thing I can think of that is in some relation to this was a game I played a few days ago where suddenly I couldn't connect to the game, even though my WiFi was completely fine and working. I was only able to connect after the game ended and it showed me the end screen. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

ur "bullshitin' " Do you know the amount of threads that are posted here day in and day out of people being permanently banned for "Exploits, Hacks, cheating " The deniability goes without saying it was something you did to give yourself an advantage over others, and Riot used their Anti-Hacking system(Sort of like Steam, with VAC) to detect different packets going from the client to the server VIA a program used to modify/enhance playability.

Let's use a scripting program for example. Now lets say your usual reaction time for a certain skill is "Slower" than a computer can do it, Riots system then analyzes the differences in MS(Mili-Seconds), comparisons of reaction speed and also the program would send different packets to Riot's server when paired with the League client.

tl;dr You got found out, make a new account and don't repeat the same mistake.

you probably let a friend play your account once and they were using a script, maybe a couple of your kalista games, where your summoner 4 summoner 7 changed.

I did let a friend play my account but if he was using scripts, how come it took so long for riots system to detect it.

from what i've seen it usually takes a while for them to detect/confirm it. I'm sure they were doing their due diligence to make sure they were using scripts or 3rd party things, like zoom hacks, etc.

I've seen them take a few months to ban someone.

Any use of bugs/scripts/Anything that can give you a unfair advantage over another player.

HOW ELSE CAN I BE SUSPENDED OR PERMANENTLY BANNED? In extreme cases, if a Rioter sees very poor player conduct in a match, they may bring it up with the Player Behavior team. The PB team will then examine the game, as well as the offending player's history, and may issue a suspension. With hundreds of Riot Games employees who play thousands of games a day, you just never know when you could be playing with a Rioter!

Additionally, various violations of the EULA and Terms of Use (e.g. MMR/Elo boosting, account sharing, intentional feeding) sometimes carry penalties that may include suspension of a player account. Remember that even if you are not explicitly reported, you can also incur automatic bans or suspensions by leaving games or going AFK during a match via the Leaver Buster system.

Lastly, modifications to your League of Legends client that provide you with an advantage over other players can result in a temporary or even permanent suspension that is issued with no warning.

account sharing is against the Riots policy and if your friend was using exploits to win games, especially in ranked, it's a easy perma ban.

it can not only get you perma ban but your friends account as well.

Mostly because they detect it, but then don't ban right away. They ban in waves. A rioter mentioned recently that a huge ban wave just went into affect for people detected in sept/oct Also fun fact letting your friend play on your account for any reason is grounds for a perma anyways. Ciao!

Another question. They sent me an email saying that I was banned for a month, but then immediately after they sent me an email saying that I was banned permanently. What is up with that?
