Perma ban

I got perma banned after just recently coming off a 14 day ban, which is the first ban I got, I was reading some threads and said there were 1 day bans and 7 day bans before a 14 day, which I got immediately. I was wondering if there was any way I could like speak to someone to try and revoke my ban. I think it was wrongly given because in the description it said I was "extremely inflammatory and offensive" which is absolutely ridiculous. I did not say a single curse word or verbally abuse anyone. I was given chat logs for two games on the basis of my perm-ban and it honestly doesn't make any sense. I should be able to talk to my team with out running the risk of being banned. There are people in my games that constantly cuss at people and verbally abuse people and say racial slurs which I report after, only to never get a notification that the person has been punished, yet I got permanently banned over this. If anyone knows of a way I can perhaps speak to someone and maybe plead a case for this I would appreciate it, thanks.

I can see how these could be taken as slightly offensive but what am I suppose to say when my teammates are intentionally trolling me? Do I say they aren't trolling when they clearly are? I also understand that I could've told the riven player what to do in a nicer way but is that really perma-ban worthy? I understand that there might've been more games but since the 14 day ban I hardly ever type anymore and I don't verbally abuse or curse at players directly, I was pretty bad earlier in the chat bans but when I got the 14 day I would say that I fixed my attitude.

The tiers are a 10 game ban, a 25 game ban, a 14 day ban and finally a permaban.

If you jumped right to a 14 day ban, you were either caught trolling, cheating, or were very toxic.

You can post the chat logs from your permaban if you want help in seeing what was punishable on it. But if you want to try and dispute the ban you'll need to send a support ticket in. Link here

Your information on the various punishments is outdated. The current system has 4 punishment tiers:

10-game chat restrict. 25-game chat restrict. 14-day suspension. Permanent ban.

Each successive punishment moves you up one tier, unless your behavior is severe enough to merit skipping one or more.

As for not getting notifications confirming that one of your reports resulted in a punishment, the reason for that is that those notifications are only sent out to the players that reported the person in the game that put them over the line; the final nail in the coffin, as it were. Your reports do matter, they just might get punished after a few more games.

Now then, if you'd like us to help you figure out if your permanent ban is unjustified, please post the chat logs you were given. Keep in mind that the two games you were given logs for are probably not the only games that were factored into the ban.

You were misinformed about punishments. There are four tiers of punishments:

  1. 10 game chat restriction
  2. 25 game chat restriction
  3. 14 day suspension
  4. Permanent suspension

Since you skipped straight to 14 day suspension, I would think that you used either hate speech or death threats. Because of this, I doubt that the logs you received are any better and this punishment will not be reversed. But if you would like to debate it, feel free to post your chat logs.

Also asking for reports or THREATENING reports is punishable on it's own.

I understand that there might've been more games but since the 14 day ban I hardly ever type anymore and I don't verbally abuse or curse at players directly, I was pretty bad earlier in the chat bans but when I got the 14 day I would say that I fixed my attitude.

The Bans go in this order. 25 Game Chat Ban 50 Game Chat Ban 14 Day Ban Permanent Ban.

Since you just got off a 14 day ban, you were punished by players in your games. 1 report in each game, sends a response to the Player Behavior Department which is review by several staff members of that said Department. They found you guility and banned you.

Thus your permanent Ban

The punishment system works in tiers (though you can in severe cases skip tiers):

  1. 10 game chat restriction
  2. 25 game chat restriction
  3. 14 day ban
  4. Permanent ban

If you have chat logs it is highly recommended to include them here (preferably all of them if you have more then 1 chat log which can be up to 3 games of chat logs).
