Permanently banned lol

Edit: By the way, I was in the process of reporting Riot to the Better Business Bureau because of my assumptions posted, well, here, and an audible laugh was sounded the moment I found this:

https://www.bbb.org/losangelessiliconvalley/business-reviews/video-game-dealers/riot-games-in-los-angeles-ca-1013443

Before you say, 'well, they're a gaming company',

https://www.bbb.org/sdoc/business-reviews/wholesale-video-games/blizzard-entertainment-inc-in-irvine-ca-13050668

This is important enough to predicate, as I would like you, the reader, to take this into consideration whilst reading this post, and although I have repeated myself below, I think it is an important enough plausible reality to need to repeat twice.

I believe, after speaking with others as well as my personal experiences, that Riot is banning individuals for less than worthy causes in order to retrieve renewed income from these persons. In plain English, I think when they ban you, there's a likelihood that you'll come back (as they have put nothing into effect to stop this), assuming you'll spend the same amount of money, and as long as they have some silly notion of why they banned you this is legal.

In fact, so much so, that the first reply to this post from an 'anonymous' player was that I should turn around and make a new account. Yeah, make a new account with Riot and purchase all the things of which you'd had before. Sure, no problem, that seems like the likely solution. Don't permaban my IP or put any precautions to stop me since my behavior is so intolerable. No, suggest I try again. Lol, ok.

Supposedly, I am part of the .006% of the community that is so viciously toxic that I am no longer allowed to play this game as my account has been permanently banned. This means that the individuals who were harassing me on my team as well as the other team, during this game, must also be apart of that .006% and be sure to follow me - right?

99.994% (hopefully my match is correct ;p) of the community that plays this game has never said nor will ever say anything as offensive as what I've listed below. Is that what you're telling me, Riot? I had absolutely no cause and justification to say all those vehement curse words towards the support that literally had just trolled me for twenty plus minutes the game before? All those violent, offensive, harassing comments that I'd slung in his direction.

Additionally, I must've been talking to myself as the game goes on. There's _no wa_y, shape, or form that I was in reality rebutting against any individual's comments that were of the same tone as mine. There's absolutely no way. In the four times I've been reported, quite similar to this, of the same exact tone, not only was it more extreme than the community, but so reprehensible that the $500.00+ I'd spent on my account could no longer be mine.

I have one of two theories, and hear me out if you would, please.

Option 1: That this is a marketing tactic, employed by Riot, in order to rehash dollars spent for a % of users in order to retain a consistent albeit speculative of income in regards to present users. Funny enough, I must know the other .006% of users in this world to lose a League of Legends account, isn't that crazy?

Option 2: It just so happens to be that the Tribunal or whatever authoritative/fascist government held in the game is a malicious, abusive conglomerate of teenagers with an inferiority complex that lashes the hammer every single time they have an opportunity.

To be frank, it's probably a mixture of both.

To give you some background, I had just played an entire game with an Alistar who legitimately trolled me for the entire match

Context is irrelevant. You get punished for what you say. Nobody can make you say anything. If you're triggered by someone you mute them, you don't retaliate. Especially not after your 14 day ban.

When you got suspended it explicitly told you that any further violation of the ToS will result in a permanent ban. Here you spam, boss your teammates around, bitch about teammates in allchat, irrelevant arguing + generally passive-aggressive attitude.

The account is gone. The ban is justified. If you wish to continue playing this game I'd suggest you create a new account.

You review what you feel like you need to, but the BBB rating has not mattered for years. It's been at "F" since Riot started because people who are banned for their behavior tend to never agree that their behavior was a problem (which is why they get banned).

BBB ratings are, quite frankly, worthless pieces of crap. Any good company knows that caring about their BBB rating will cause them more hassle than not. Plus, companies can virtually "buy" their BBB "certification" or rating just by "resolving" bad reviews (by throwing money at consumers in violation of their own policies).

Plus, if you look at all of Riot's "reviews" on the BBB, they're all bullshit that's based around the same reason as yours would be - "i got banned and don't like it". Why should Riot waste time responding to those when they'll never be resolved?

I am terribly sorry to be this blunt... but you're literally grasping at straws, trying to make Riot look like the bad entity here just because you were unable to follow the simple rule of "don't be a jerk".

You spent all early game insulting your support for no reason. Do you think he doesn't realize when he makes a bad play? You pointing it out and harassing him isn't going to suddenly fix things, its just going to make him tilt harder. Then you brag about your KDA like it somehow is going to help you when you are 3/6/1. Your whole chat is spent insulting your teammates or making excuses for your own bad play. So I have a third option for you:

You deserve your ban.

Anyone can make those reviews. And if you look at the negative reviews, they all have a common theme of "I was punished for..." While it is bad to have that rating, I'm not sure what conclusion you can draw from it about Riot games. Were there any other game reviews, perhaps from published material that would supplement the BBB review?

When was your 14 day ban?
