Escalation 14 Day Unjustified (Video)

Before I say anything let me just address the argument of the fact that it was not this one specific game that caused the ban and that the ban is deserved because I am consistently toxic. Ok, I'll accept that to some degree, this wasn't the ONLY game I was toxic in, ya I deserve the chat restrictions prior. Not an excuse but I went on a really bad losing streak and that's where the majority of the toxicity was and still kind of is because I've been slumping. After an autofilled support lux game yesterday I was just like fuck it, I'm gonna be positive play only my main role and try to get my main champ and dodge when I don't. I really wanted to start winning again and I know poor attitude bites me in the ass in a lot of my games. It's been going pretty well. That lasted 7 games, and here on this 8th game as I say in the VOD (which I was recording because I want to try to get somebody to review it and tell me what I'm doing wrong), things go wrong and I don't even think I overreact massively.

The situation is that the game is going fine and dandy, just a normal game of league of legends. I get some ganks off, I'm ahead, my mid is ahead, my bot is kinda ahead but they are flubbing a couple fights. No big deal. I'm fine with all of that. But I look top every once and a while and nobody is hitting anybody. I really didn't think much of it. Maybe Kled is scared of darius all in or whatever, who knows. I then get red and go up to gank because I am 100% sure I can make something happen in that lane, as Darius Rek'sai we have a lot of damage. What ends up happening is that the Kled ints me a kill and Darius just stands around and watches pinging me off him. This is 100% outright trolling and I don't want it in my game whether it's in my favor or not. I don't want to get a kill because Kled ints it and I don't want to lose because my top laner isn't playing the game.

This goes on for the entire game despite me asking them to stop and I ended up raging at him. Saying that he made me want to jump off a bridge and typing all caps is probably what triggered the ban along with maybe me running it down mid once after starting a surrender vote that failed. LIke are these things really that bad when looked at in context. Ok maybe the inted death is bad, but the game really was over at this point, there is nothing we could do and nobody was really trying to win. Either way it's not like I continued to int, we literally just could not do anything and darius continued to spam canceled autos on Kled.

I really doubt that I'll be unbanned, I don't think it's something Riot does and even if it is they will probably look at my account and be like "ya just keep him banned, it's not the end of the world" but I really think the automatic ban here is totally unjustified. I really wanted to stay calm and play my game but these 2 players made it almost impossible which is what toxic really is if we go back to original usage of the word. Toxic players are the ones who create a negative game environment, and that really wasn't me this game.

Here's the VOD of the game, judge for yourselves. Go to 7:25 to see what I'm talking about, this happens all game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z02a097NdXM

The punishment system works on 4 tiers. The first is a 10 game chat restriction, then a 25 game. After that is a 14 day ban, which is where you are. It doesn't matter what the amount of toxicity is, of you continue to be toxic, eventually you will reach the 14 day ban.

After that is a permaban. And all it takes to reach that final step is one validated instance of toxicity against you. So be careful, as this is your last warning

This is what's wrong the the system right now... Here, we have a guy that's playing to win. However, he's dealing with a Darius that has no inclination of wanting to win. Darius is the poster child of trolls.

So, the troll's objective is to tilt someone in hopes the player who is trying to win gets frustrated. Once the legitimate player shows frustrations in chat, the troll has complete power through the report system. It's a trap. It's game over for legit players that want to win.

The troll, gets away scot-free. And the cycle continues.

If Riot focused on punishing in-game behavior (ie, feeders, trolls like Darius, afkers) there would be less text based toxicity. League, and the community would be at a healthier state, believe me.

Regardless of what the situation was, the fact is that someone still reported you and you were still punished. Riot never reverses bans that were warranted. At least you seem like you've learned from the punishment. I'd personally recommend expanding your champion pool so that you have reliable options in every role so that you can be more flexible instead of feeling like you have to play a certain champion in order for you to do well. Also, if you're in a sour mood, just mute everyone at the beginning of the game and play it out. Keep doing this until you feel better. If things keep heading south, then just take a break and play ARAM or another game.

Your words will fall on deaf ears here, bro.

Most of these people only care about the broken technicalities, and blindly follow whatever Riot tells them, lol.

Be glad it's not a perm ban, and just start ignoring everyone. It's more toxic than actually being toxic, because nobody can communicate with you, but Riot tells us that's what we have to do now, because they are SJWs and trying to create a safe-space on the internet where people cannot be hurt by words, lmfao.

Good luck <3

Okay I did not read all of the walls of texts that you guys are writing right now, but I watched the vid and have read the chatlog. You are absolutly right, you don't deserve this 14 day ban. You deserve a fucking perma ban. Do you know why most people play video games? Do you? There is a thing called "fun" that you don't seem to know. These 2 guys have shown us what not many people have and it's called good sportsmanship and friendliness. They didn't bitch at each other for being better or making mistakes. They silently agreed to a farm lane (where you don't fight but only farm) and had a good laugh and a friendly chit chat with each other. This is what playing a video game should be about: realizing that there is another human being behind the screen that just wants the same thing as you, relaxing, having fun and enjoying a game of league.

Stop playing. Not only stop playing league but stop playing completly. You are the kinda guy who starts killing people in a pvp game when 2 enemy groups of people don't attack each other and start spaming emotes and stuff. Ruining the fun of everyone else because your ego is so fucking huge that you had to show everyone how big your balls are. Absolutly no one likes you or wants you in any of his games. Leave and don't fucking come back. You will soon get your perma ban anyway.

You admit to being toxic, you admit that you deserve the ban. I don't see what the issue is here.

So you had a troll in one of your games, big deal, it happens. You stay quiet, you report them, you move on. You chose not to do that so you're getting punished for having zero self-control---which you admit to.
