I was having a good game, outplaying and their yi started talking trash so i said F*ggot and I got permanently banned afterwards ????????????????????????????? I HAVE NEVER BEEN WEEK BANNED OR MONTH BANNED

Have you tried not using homophobia as an outlet for frustration? I'm gay and may not take it as personally as some other gay people, but it is still a hurtful word to many.

The only thing why you think its homophobic, bc you think being gay is bad. If you think about gay ppl as normal ppl, then you cant have any problem with calling somebody gay. So actually, the guy who reported him and the one who handed out the ban are totally homophobic, bc they think that calling somebody gay is bad. Think about it...

Lets be clear, the "gay" word refers to homosexual people, it's only an insult if you think that being homosexual is bad. Even gays call themselves gay, so I don't see your point.

He calls someone a %%%, this is a word that has been pretty charged with hate for a long time.

HOW can you know it is used in a negative way? Are you a mind reader? BC Rito uses the "it's impossible to find out the intent of a player" excuse for a lot of things. You say, you know the intent behind this sentence?

You totally have the right to do that. It's free speech, since you can chose your gender as you wish, why would you not be allowed to call yourself whatever you want.

If you want to call yourself anything, even "a dirty sand n****", I would support your decision and I don't see any problem with it.

Yet they still should realize that this is not a good solution. And I still don't see any reason why should you not be allowed to call yourself a "dirty sand n****", do you?

The whole flaming thing is solved by the mute button, if you don't like what he writes, just mute him. The whole community cryout and bans are just a pointless overreaction to an already solved problem. And Rito still doesn't focus on the REAL problems (which causes the most cases of flamers), the trolls/inters. So right now they are trying to handle the sympthoms and not the problem.

But ye, I know the rules, but the rules can be stupid.

Being able to mute simply soves the toxicity problem, its not even an excuse or anything, that's the SOLUTION.

The serial killer is not really a good example, he does unreversable harm to the society, and can NOT be stopped without locking him up / killing him. Don't tell me that jail doesn't remove ppl from society, actually this is the reason why you lock ppl up, to remove them from society TEMPORARLY.

Anyway let me show you why murder and flaming is not comparable:

  1. case murder: Somebdy shoots me, I die. I don't want to die, but I have no choice.
  2. case flaming: Somebody tells me to kms, I'm not fckin stupid and don't listen to idiots from the internet, I don't kill myself. See, I HAD A CHOICE. To get butthurt by flamers and not mute them is YOUR CHOICE. Dying bc somebody shoots you is NOT your choice. So in this case muting somebody would make you invulnerable in your example, if anybody could get invulnerable in real life, then homicide would not be punished, bc only ppl who want to die would die.

And calling myself a fgt, a nggr, nz, or anything is TOTALLY FINE, I call myself whatever I want, you can be offended bc I call myself nggr, but you have no right to deny MY RIGHT to call myself whatever I want. And stop pulling the race card over and over again. Are they slaves NOW?! No, so get over it.

Except it wasn't your choice to get flamed, and it's not always a kys. You can choose to mute them but now if they say something useful like "Shen no ult" you lose out on it.

Mad isn't the same as offended. I don't really get mad at insults, more like annoying because I start getting flash backs to customers at work calling me every name in the book because we're out of stock on an item.

It's not that it's that he got the perma before any other punishment usually when you say a word like that you get a 2-week never do you straight get the perma.

Things like homophobic slurs get you an escalated punishment, usually but not limited to a 2-week suspension. Did you have a prior 2-week suspension?

That is pretty unusual to get a permanent ban without ever receiving a 2-week ban. I'd say you should write a support ticket.

It only takes a 10-game chat restriction to skip 2 tiers of punishment into permaban.

The flow chart that you guys see all the time has that error, where it assumes that you will always get a 14-day ban first, when in truth one is skipping 2 tiers of punishment.

Contact support if you've never been punished then. We literally can't do anything about it.

Keep in mind that support has access to your complete history and can easily check if you're lying (and they will).

i've seen this happen before if the person got a chat restriction. and it's not that it's a "bad" word it's that it's an unacceptable word. big difference

There are multiple systems within the IFS, Key words is just for the zero tolerance part, the B standard part of the system is waaaaayyyyy more complexed than just a keyword search.

In this case, there is many techniques along side of the Keyword checker, which make up the system which is in place to detect bad behavior and all that, what he said is correct.

Yes, this technique is a part of the system, and as a whole, it is the system, he shouldn't need to clarify "as a whole". Take the time to understand what hes getting at, instead of just skimming it and responding

Hey if you are having problems keeping it in with emotions/anger, we feel you some of us are just made that way, but check out AutoCensor, it is an app that will block you from sending any negative messages and any curse words, meaning you will be 100% ban-proof. I'm gonna get a squad of my mates, we all team up and report 1 guy every game if ANY bad word we think is spoken. We will say whatever we have to, and you will get banned.

If you say white, we will report you for racism. If you say black, we will report you for racism.
