When your team troll picks, Dodge or lose?

What do you do when your team troll picks a teemo mid(in a meta full of mid assassin/burst that would destroy a teemo) You don't have unlimited dodges, why should a player have to suffer a wait time because their team wants to troll pick, I understand an issue would be(forcing the meta) but where is the line drawn between off meta picks and troll picks? and why should the person who dodges suffer vs the person who troll picks in the first place? I understand different things are stronger and better picks in different elo's. But i mean really when you have a braum, soraka botlane going healer/tank. they are obviously going to lose lane vs an actual adc/sup lane. My point is i dont want to suffer que time dodges because of troll picks but i also dont want to sit through a 20 mins game of troll either. Someone help im lost on what i should do

You are going to be dodging a lot if you think Teemo mid is troll.

at your ELO, everything works. All the META BS really doesn't matter. One with the better game knowledge will do better in lane.

Maybe just make an effort instead of writing off anything that is not FOTM meta as trolling.

The new System is like: Forced to stay in the Game unless you want to loose your Key Frags and Chests

-Game lost within 5min, forced to stay another 45min-

It depends on how the champ select goes. It no one complain and the guy who picked teemo mid didn't give any hint he will troll or say anything, I'd probably play it out.

It's tough but just play it out. There's always a chance the other team will have a troll, or afk. Or with the skill disparity that happens in bronze and silver, your team could just grossly outplay the other team. Maybe your mid carry will get fed and carry your 1 troll pick. Also, just because you consider it a troll pick, doesn't mean they are gonna purposely lose or int feed. They might try to win, which still gives you a chance in low ELO, regardless of the team comp.

I just had the same problem but teemo bot lane he proceeds to troll and feed and blames me for everything

Dodge penalty is too much. The entire point of dodging is to avoid 20+ minutes of trolling. It's a misdemeanor crime with good intentions. There should never be a severe penalty.

Call me crazy, but I don't think Teemo mid is that bad.

Now, as for your question, I wouldn't dodge, even if I felt certain someone was going to troll. I use the policy "Don't negotiate with terrorists" and replace "terrorists" with "trolls." For one thing, the only way they're going to get punished is if I play the match out with them and report them at the end, and for another thing, if I dodge, then I'm showing the trolls that they have power. If trolls start meeting lobbies of four people who refuse to dodge and say that they're reporting the troll at the end unless he or she plays legitimately, then I think instances of trolling would go down, because their "victims" are taking an active stance. If people just dodge at the sight of trolls, then the trolls just get a free dodge, and more importantly, they see that their trolling has an effect, which just encourages them to troll further.

Opponents would have no reason to counter-pick the teemo unless your team had already locked in a top-laner that also doesn't seem like they could go mid.

And Teemo can sometimes handle assassins if he abuses them early and uses his Q for when they dive onto him. After lvl 6 he can use defensive shrooms to make diving him a terrible idea.

I don't like teemo but he's certainly viable mid.

i'd dodge in that situation every time tbh, dodging is really not as bad as its punished for.

if its ranked and my team is already raging in champ select, i will dodge, 3 lp vs 17-22 lp loss is a no brainer for me
