So ive been playing this game since early season 2. Ive spent probably over 2,000$ on this game in my account. I was recently perma banned 9/15/16 because a toxic Karma would not stop flaming me. We were playing bot lane, I was adc and she ks me 3 times early, the first time all I said to her was "ks" and she proceeded to flame me by saying "kill secured" and "quit crying". As I proceeded to stick up for myself, because I don't like being bullied online, she kept on and kept on flaming me. I even muted her for 15+min, then when the game was over she proceeded to flame me more. Ive been a dedicated player who really enjoys this game but I REFUSE to let someone flame me without sticking up for myself. My parents taught me to always stick up for myself. I am deeply insulted that I received a perma ban for this, sticking up when someone was toxic and bullying me. Yes, I cursed at them, but only after they proceeded to flame me even harder. I asked her to stop, multiple times, but she did not and kept on antagonizing me.

I need a rioter to take a look at this please. I love this game and I want to play it and I don't feel its fair that I get punished for standing up to a bully. Also considering ive spent at least $1,500, maybe even close to $2,000 on this game its really really really unsettling. If I don't get my account unbanned I'm going to do everything in my power to make you pay me back my money. I don't wanna be the prick that sues you in small claims court, but I will, and I will win. My family is chalk full of lawyers and my cousin works for my states Attorney General's office. This is not ok that I get punished for getting flamed and sticking up for myself. Please Riot respond asap or you will be hearing from me. I'm not trying to be a jerk about this, I'm really not and I'm trying to keep calm but this needs to be addressed one way or the other.

You did not get a permabanned for "standing up to a bully" - it takes either hate speech, or a pattern of bad behavior and 3 chances to behave yourself. If you want to talk about that, then post the reform cards from your client or ban notification email. Nobody here, least of all Riot, is going to believe you until those are posted.

You love the game you say, but apparently you don't love it enough to control what you type in chat.

Spending large amounts of money on the game is not an excuse for toxic behavior.

You're literally going the "my family is lawyers" way when you signed an EULA that says Riot can ban you from their game for any or no reason? Really? This is the part where we all throw our heads back in laughter.

You do not have a right to "stick up for yourself" - mute the instigators. Is your self control really so poor that if someone calls you a name, you have to call them one back? And, as said before, it takes a pattern of bad behavior, and three chances to reform yourself, (or hate speech/threats) to get the hammer.

If you want to have a conversation, post your chat logs. "Defending yourself" is not an excuse to be an asshole. If you broke rules while 'defending yourself' you still deserve your ban. Retaliation isn't acceptable.

I need to see chat logs because unfortunately, Rito has terms and conditions you must follow. These Terms are Conditions are literally stated after every patch in the EULA and I bet 99% of players just click "Okay" and go right into the Login screen.

I'm not here to shame you, cause I know what it's like to bullied and there are so many kids online playing this game that need to be put in their place. Unfortunately, the ultimate deciders known as Riot Games, has given us the simple option of not being toxic in return. Its a basic concept, and I'm sure your parents taught you to stick up for yourself in the real world, and I completely understand where you are coming from. UNFORTUNATELY, this is the online world, where everything is out of wack and out of order. Kids can type whatever they want and I guarantee you the 1% of the community that Riot claims to be toxic are simply just the 1 out of the 45% of the community that actually get reported doing it.

This game is simply like a tennis bout; the rackets being each player pressing the word "enter" and the ball being the verbal assault being dished out back and forth. It's a very hard thing to deal with, and I know that simply "Muting" these types of players isn't the punishment you think they deserve, but sadly it is expected of you. Its sad really.

On to the actual point regarding you bringing lawyers and other things into this. Look man. Losing something you invest time into is hard, but many people deal with it. You are sitting on a forum throwing rage at riot when you should really just be feeling regret about how you acted towards others. Im sure the guy who flamed you will get his just desserts, but really all this talk about lawyers is pretty playdoughy. (Meaning, it can and can't happen)

Going back to the topic of losing something you invest time in. As Humans we lose loved ones, we lose jobs, we lose the joy in our lives ... there are so many things out there that could make you go crazy, and a League account is no different. Take this time and relax. You say you spent 2k dollars on this game, that is a strong investment, but inevitably a worthless one nonetheless. Saying you love the game is one thing, but you haven't shown love in game. You cant buy love. Riot is fully aware as to how much money you spent playing, and they dont care as long as they get theres.

And please, take the time to post the chat logs where you were "sticking up for yourself". I'm sure if it was something mild, Riot could look past it. HOWEVER, Riot does not just ban for one game of toxicity, and everyone knows this. This isn't your first time to the rodeo(in terms of being toxic), but if this is your first punishment(meaning no 1 day, 3 day, 7 day or 14 day ban EVER before this one .. chat restrictions included) then you clearly have had a history. Riot does not give permabans towards toxicity unless they have given you enough warnings AS THEY SEE FIT for you to change. If you love this game as much as you say, Buy a lvl30 account. Those run around $20 dollars I believe.

The amount of money does NOT, and let me repeat that, it DOES NOT have ANYTHING to do with you being punished. NOR DOES YOUR "CLAIMED" LAWYER FAMILY. Show them the terms and conditions you manually selected to agree before playing the game would sufficiently allow them to dismiss any of your claim.

Saying that you spent a lot of money on the account should give you privilege is like saying that you should have privilege to by pass the law you violated if you donated a lot of money to the country.

If you wish to discuss your punishment here, then you might want to post your chat logs, which you can get by trying to log into the client. If doing so doesn't yield anything other than a "check your e-mail" response, then that probably means that your ban was the result of a manual review, which unfortunately does not generate any chat logs for the player. In this case, you will need to submit a support ticket asking for the chat logs.
