Riot Helping me in ranked?

It's been over two years I've been playing in bronze unable to make it out, the highest I've made it was bronze 2, Today I was Bronze 5 With 87 LP and won 1 Ranked game, Was promoted to Bronze 4 from the one win, and I lost two in a row and wasn't demoted. If this is a new way to help the players being penalized for others behavior I am 100% for it.
