I'm not sure about anyone else, but ever since dynamic queue was implemented, I've noticed a sudden rise in queue dodgers. In my last attempt to play a game I had five dodges in a row, I got to the point where I felt like just giving up on playing the game, and this isn't the first time I've gotten dodge after dodge. I know dodgers will always be a thing, but has anyone noticed more of them lately? Is there anything Riot can do to ease this annoyance?
I don't notice any dodgers in my queues. That may be because I also play with friends often. Normally my premade groups are about 3-5 people, so the chances of that happening to me is quite low. I would suggest trying that out but I really doubt that this will continue for long since the dodging punishments are getting stricter.
Really? Complaining about people dodging? Give me a break.
There's real life issues that might be a cause of it. Or some that change their mind and can't play the game because they have to be somewhere.
You'd rather them lock their pick and afk half way through the game because they realized they had to leave sooner than they expected? They'd wish there would have been a dodge option so they dont completely start a game.
If you have a problem with people simply dodging games then don't play the game and on top of all don't come whining on forums about it.
Personally don't mind an increase in dodgers if it means people are happier with their teams/match ups. The new system has its issues, but ultimately people are 1) more likely to get what they want and 2) more likely to have expectations in line with reality, which imo leads to an overall better gaming experience, which should be the goal here.
imagine if riot removed the penalty for dodging like some people on these forums would like
