My Own Teammates Banning My Champs
Second lobby in a row, my team first-bans Xayah as I have her selected. No apologies, no reasoning behind it. First time, I got flamed for wanting to bring her at all. Second time, they simply said "always ban new champs" repeatedly.
Which leads me to 2 questions:

Why are we even able to ban champions that our teammates have selected? Can't that be disabled? Why isn't that in consideration at this point? I understand when it comes to ranked that this may not be possible due to griefing, but even in normal draft where the results don't really matter? Would the results even have many negative possible repercussions?

Why are brand new champs in the ban pool for normal draft games? Their ban rates have GOT to be within the 70-90% range. Hundreds of thousands of players spend money on themselves and their friends with the expectation of being able to use what they pay for, and now my own teammates are saying "no, you're not allowed. No reason lol get memed". Is this good marketing, let alone morally right?
