Why are some league players so stubborn? One game i told a caitlyn to not build essence reaver since its not very optimal but she flamed me for being "stupid" and ignored me since she was wrecking our botlane.(1/28 bot lane) I genuinely dont know why some players just refuse to listen to tips and tricks other people tell them. If someone tells me something i try to learn it since im in low elo i try to learn as much as i can. Dont they realize the reason theyr in low elo is because of their lack of game knowledge and skills?

It is because you have no credibility with the people you are talking to.

If some random guy walked up to you on the street and gave you a stock tip you probably aren't rushing to a broker to buy.

No one asked you to be their coach and suboptimal is not always a fixed thing. The whole point of the shop is to allow you to adapt your build to the situation, matchup and income.

Why would he listen to advice from some guy in low elo? That guy giving advice is in low elo because of his lack of game knowledge and skills.

it could be that they lack game knowledge, it could also be used to cover their mistakes.

For example, a Masters tier player would rarely run out of mana in lane, where a Low ELO player is always oom, cos the lower ELO players fire random skillshots hoping it would hit or waste it on waveclear. The lower tier player ends up building lots of mana regen to compensate for their play style.

There was this one game I started boots first, and everyone questioned me on it. My reasoning was to get in range to harass quickly and be able to side step blitz hooks easier.

Everyone has their own reasons. Sometimes, META is not always the answer.

tbh im low elo because of low fps. not a lack of knowledge. i have a pretty good grasp on champions abilites what they do and their cooldowns. my decision making is also decent. tell me more about bronze and their lack of skill. <3

Even if your intention is to be helpful, the truth is, it's very hard to convey that using just text. That's usually the job of your tone of voice. And unfortunately, people tend to think they're better than those around them, and they also tend to think others are attacking them or putting them down. Sometimes you just have to accept that people won't react the way you want them to, especially over the internet.

It also doesn't help that League is a pretty intense game and it makes most people quicker to anger or similar emotions.

You need to be at least Diamond for anyone to listen to you, and even they they probably won't. True story.

Freedom of Choice, Freedom of Speech and Human Nature. Maybe they dont care, maybe they weren't interested or maybe they dont know you or trust. could be all of the above. but yeah feelsbadman, nothing you can do, but report and move on.
