Punishment reviews are done through the support ticket system, primarily. You could get lucky and one might stop by on your thread, but threads are mostly for players to talk to each other.

This chart shows how Riot's punishment system works. Either something went wrong and you were banned on accident (repeating a key word or something) or we're not hearing the entire story. Did you retaliate against them?
So instead of muting, playing, and reporting after the game; you decided to be part of the problem and make everyone else deal with those two and a afk.
It's not what they said that earns you a punishment, it's what you said/did. You would have been provided evidence either in the form of links to games or in the form of chat logs - please post them in their entirety.

No, we addressed this. You weren't banned because you got flamed, you were banned because you went afk. These are two very different things.
Being flamed that you can easily mute is not justification for going afk and ruin games for other people.
If you actually got banned (like banned banned) for going afk, you must have an impressive records of going afk in massive amount of games....
Where is the chat logs?
If it's any consolation, if you reported those two players, they'll probably get at least a 14 day suspension.

I will tell u what Riot told me although what they told me was hard in my situation of locking a lane-specific champion and not feeding after having a troll in my lane but. ** Riot said you're not allowed to be toxic, or go afk just because another person does it, you can mute them play the game and report them, I got another player actioned the other day for saying KYS automated ban for his idiotic bullshit.**
I know the toxic behavior is hard to deal with i've dealt with it today in two games likely because its the start of the season, and I basically had our JUNGLER keep coming in my lane and helping the enemy, and our top laner coming in and taking farm early then bitching because of it...
Like very frustrating to deal with, but muting them helped me keep from flamming the idiot's cuz they asked in all chat at one point and I told them like I turn off chat + Pings to avoid flamming myself because its really hard to deal with when you got two people just passively trolling the game and upsetting people, I could understand maybe one mistake, but if your going to keep doing it especially early game to put the enemy ahead instead there is a problem.

Unless you have a record for going afk then perhaps its possible.
