Is mute all the only way?

So a normal game, our nasus is 0/2/0 afk farm at 26 minutes. Plenty of stacks for a while now. He already blamed me a couple times and refused to follow any gank I did top, nothing new here. So I say "26 minutes in zero kill participation, time to stop the afk farm?" or something like that, actually even a bit nicer cuz this can sound harsh I guess. Reply was "you're a fker j4". And then botlane, not even premade with nasus starts to defend HIM!!! I have talked for good 10 minutes with support after game reconstructing the conversation and why would they "take his side" which is nuts. Bottom line was "if you want to win play ranked".

Since I see this happen a lot on the forums as well I wanna hear what you people think.

If a teammate makes a mistake, micro or macro, are you allowed to point it out (politely, ofc.)? Or since community is full of a) hard flamers and b) sensitive kids you should only talk to your irl premades EVER?

Many streamers suggest "mute all" even at higher elo (diamond+), even if you're not tilted. Riot's default settings have "all" chat turned off.

Personally I think that going with "mute all" means aknowledging the failure of League's community. Which is probably true. So I'd rather not see devil's advocates here on the forums on their high horses saying "you're the 1%, most league players are perfectly nice blah blah" because it's clearly BULLSHIT. Let's state it once and for all and work from there.

I always give suggestions. Strategy ideas. I don't tell them past mistakes, I give ideas for moving forward. Sometimes I'm met with hostility, sometimes not. Not really a big deal. Stop being so sensitive when people don't take your side. It's not about ego and having a popular opinion, it's about winning the game. If they don't take your suggestion seriously, shut the fuck up and keep playing. You sound like the "sensitive kid" you speak of.

He wound up with almost twice the damage dealt to champions as you, which is pretty damning if your account of him being utterly uninvolved in fights for the first 50%+ of the game.

I think what support is trying to explain to you is that you're infinitely better off, on multiple fronts, focusing on your own play rather than your teammates. Nasus was only making a "mistake" according to your strategic interpretation, and you're as fallible as the next guy. Your interpretation of "AFK farming" may have been his "split pushing", or any number of other explanations could function here. Nasus is, after all, an infinitely scaling champion that is often best served farming alone for long stretches of time.

You're free to offer advice or request a strategy of your teammates. Criticizing them as if they're an idiot and you're an infallible authority is a poor choice, though. /Mute all is only necessary if you're unable to control yourself from harassing your teammates.

You are not competent enough to point on someone's mistakes of your or near your level. You ARE allowed, but it leads either to nothing or starting useless shit talking. You can only politely suggest to do something [you want them to do]

I think players like this Nasus are the worst. I hate when they don't communicate and the only reaction you can get is insults or they write hilarious stuff like "x9 [your champion] trolling and toxic"(in all chat ofc), when you just tried to reason with them.

Not even an "you suck because you did xyz wrong", they just tell you that "you suck". Completely empty flames. They are so bad they can't even roast you properly.

But here is the problem, if you mute all and there is 1 player who doesn't talk shit but game related stuff that could help you, then you will decrease your win chances by muting all by default. Same with pings, sometimes you actually get pings about something that you would have missed.

It may not be the only way, but it is the BEST and the EASIEST way.

It is not "Leagues community". It is actual people acting that way outside of League as well.

I mostly blame the parents. If the parents actually monitored their children the children would not be acting the way they do.

Ive found while listening to music i ignore the flamers and ragers.

By the way, there really is no need to say "sensitive kids". Almost every time i hear person A say that, its because person B said they were going to report them because person A was trolling, cussing up the wazzoo, pointing out EVERY mistake someone may or may not have made in an unconstructive manner, or was saying that person B is..... autistic, retarded, N word, and should not be such a "sensitive kid". That "its life. Deal with it. You will deal with it every day of your life anyways." Etc.

Its not "being a sensitive kid" if you are a jerk.

Not saying that you did that, just that it is completely unneeded and makes you look worse than the people who you are trying to insult.

Ill wait for the "oh so youre one of those sensitive kids" commentary which is nearly assured to follow.
