Feeding/Trolling in Ranked games

Is it just me wondering why isn't there a system, that prevents you from losing LP if someone feeds your game? Something similar to the Remake system and making much more sense than someone losing LP because his client crashed. So if someone goes on a feeding spree his team can choose to report him, making him take the full extent of the loss and preventing them from losing LP because they had bad luck... That would make ranked games much more enjoyable, much more fair and make people think twice before feeding. It will also expose people playing on shared accounts in an ELO where they don't belong.

No. There are ten players in every game, and only five of them can win. For every player that's popping off and doing really well, there's an equivalent player who's outclassed and losing lane. The system you're proposing would allow you to gain lp every time you win and retain that lp every time you lose simply by reporting the worst player on your team. You'd inevitably reach diamond without actually having a diamond level skillset just by playing enough games over a period of time.

While I'm sure you'd love to brag to your MySpace friend Tom about reaching diamond without having to dedicate a ton of time into improving your skills, keep in mind that it would ruin the integrity of the ranked system and you'd find very lopsided games where players who are actually at a high elo skill level are getting paired with or facing off against players who are at a bronze skill level but have thousands of games under their belt. Hardly seems fair, does it?

Every game has feeders. If not, no one would get fed and every game would be a stalemate.

Feeding is a part of the game. Its pvp. People are going to feed off lesser skilled players. Thats part of winning/losing. Rescinding LP loss for the losing team would make the ladder system utterly pointless. People would just climb and climb and plat would become the new silver because so many people arent losing LP, only gaining, because someone on their team fed in most losses. I just dont think its a realistic idea.
