Regarding people getting banned for being "toxic"

If by toxic you mean death wishes such as "drink bleach", yes I do agree it is too extreme and unnecessary and violates codes of conduct of a adapt human being in today's society. However, when one trolls the game, feeds, and flames you for lying reasons, and threaten if you retaliate that you would get banned, and your reports on him would not do anything to him, while one report would get you banned instantly because of this stupid ass automated system. How is that creating a enjoyable environment of competitive gaming? Recently I got banned because I simply claimed a fact that I am not going to gank top because I saw your mechanics being bad, and that is considered as flaming. This to be honestly is outrageous to me because as an adult I am not obligated to suck up to a guy who is ruining my game experience. It is not preschool and why should people be carebears in this game? It is a game for god sake, and for me my only solution is in future to basically not use the chat at all. Riot said they did not want to add voice comm because "statistically" speaking it would increase toxicity, a statistic which we were never being revealed to. However, i find if riot truly want reduce toxicity just add the god damn voice comm and not wasting time on banning so called negative behaviors. People tend to not be as harsh as they are in voice than typing, that is a fact. Finally, I suggest to change the IFS system of automated ban because it doesn't work. I remember that we live in a world with freedom of speech, and yet riot is basically taking away my rights forcefully. Yet people might say if it frustrates you so much why don't you just quit league, well my answer is I can't it is like a drug and I am addicted to it. And now because some carebear designers in riot that I have to put up with the trolls and feeders who shits on me and I have no sort of retaliation because they have carebear rioters to back them up. Face the truth League is not getting new players anymore. By doing this you are not attracting new players, you are only pushing away the old players who are addicted to the game and are still playing this.

Do you have any idea what our first amendment even means? No, your rights are NOT being infringed. Take a moment to understand what the 1st amendment does before claiming some straight up nonsense. Your first amendment rights do not extend into private business.

You cannot walk into a movie theater and start screaming as the movie starts. You're 1st amendment rights are NOT being violated when you get kicked out.

You cannot go to your kids pre-school and start screaming obscenities. You're 1st amendment rights are NOT being violated when you are escorted out.

You cannot scream "FIRE" in a crowded nightclub or bar just to cause a panic. You're 1st amendment rights are NOT being violated when you are arrested and jailed.

Being banned from a private server in whatever game for using language that is against their rules is NOT a violation of your first amendment rights

The first amendment does NOT mean you are immune from judgment, repercussions, critisism, and/or pushback for an opinion

And of course, the first amendment is not being breached by being kicked out of LoL for being a douche

Why is it that the people who always bring up the first amendment have absolutely fuck all idea of what it actually does?

First off -- paragraphs are your friend. Secondly -- take a screenshot of your logs I highly doubt you got punished for saying "I will not gank top as your mechanics are bad"

As a final comment I seriously think a lot of this negativity problems riot is struggling with can be solved with just implementing a god damn voice comm yet I cannot understand why wouldn't riot do it for what 5 years.

Next time separate your point's it's easier to read xD Imma answer piece by piece so bear with me.

If you get a troll in your game, you shouldn't retaliate. It will just make things worse. But I agree Riot should by more stricter on that matter, especially if it's a ranked game, even if it means changing punishemnt system and maybe ban couple of innocent players. Right now it's painfully long before they get caught, IF they get caught.

And you don't have to not use chat at all. Try to type /note and then type whatever you want. Basically you will be the only one who will see that message.

And about Riot's explanation why they don't want vocie comms....it's pretty dumb imo. Games like CSGO, R6S, HoTS, OW have vocie chat, and none of them have issues with toxicity.

Although I agree system should be changed, you still don't have a 'freedom of speech' here, because you're playing under a private company and they can enfore any rule they want.

It's your fault for getting addicted to a game, not Riot's.
