Perma ban

Hey there! Shortly speaking, I have just got permanently banned for being toxic on the basis of just one single game. Yeah, I admit that I was pretty much toxic in that game but the case is that I have not been banned before. Moreover, I haven't received any warnings before, thus, there were no chat-bans, 7 or 14 days ban as a warning sign before the permanent one. Thus, I have received a permanent ban right after we striked an enemy Nexus so it took like 30 to 60 seconds to permanently ban me.

Is it a joke or this is how tribunal works and there will be no warnings or such things and the system bans right after you click "Back to lobby" after the game was finished?

Riot, could you please throw some light on the situation?

If you were given chat logs from 1 game, that means it was most likely that game that was reported was found to have negative behavior. However, if your claim that you never received a prior punishment is true (I'm only going off what you typed) and it's a perma on the first one then it may be the following:

  • Your chat was extreme to the point that a perma is justified

  • it's a protective ban in case of a charge back or your account being compromised

  • You were caught using cheats or shared your account

Might want to contact support to see what's up.

Probably warrants some punishment (Based on logs) but not perma-ban worthy tbh.

Honestly if this is your first time ever getting a punishment: Send in a support ticket. It might get deescalated to a 14 day ban.

I'm not going to make any promises though.

You would not be permanent banned for that but there have been a to. Of people posting edited logs.

Heavily edited you say? I just tried to hide an offensive words like "d!ck" with a quite obvious way of just cutting half of word so it could look like "Show me your d" etc. due to the fact that I don't want to get banned on a forum as well since I am not really aware of the rules of posting such logs over here. Thus, is it justified for instant 30 seconds permanent ban? Though, as you may seen there are no death threats, racism, homophobic comments or telling someone to go kill themselves, just an average rage stuff which happens normally during games. (I admit, that I went beyond the norms and should get punished, but definitely not with an INSTANT PERMANENT BAN for that.) If not, then where should I apply my appeal since I'm kinda dumb in such questions. Thanks boys.

You didn't play in November. So i question that you had never a ban before.

they banned my account i made a new one and am acting worst this is a game if riot think destroyin a account u work years to build is going make anyone act better there stupid

You were toxic af. Don't care if you had no warnings, why does everyone expect warnings before screwing up and getting punished? If I had to deal with you on my team, I'd be glad too if you got permabanned.

Im not an expert in the ways the punishment system works.. But what i do know is that not just 1 game can get you banned unless you were uttering death threats, racism, homophobic comments or telling someone to go kill themselves.. so chances are you have had this coming for a bit.. and for them to skip the 7-14 day bans means you broke more then 1 of these above reasons...

Also tribunal hasnt been up for about 4 years at least now..

If you think you have been banned without rhyme or reason then start a support ticket and they will contact you with the further information.. However there is a good chance your account is done..

This is the chat log of the whole game (approximately 40 minutes), there's plenty of toxic stuff but it was more about the game process I tried to describe (admit, that in a way of insults, but about the game). So basically there was no racism, death threats, homophobic comments or telling someone to go kill themselves. The only thing that should be punished is speaking about family (read logs). Though, there were only two messages about it. The rest are pretty much just the stuff I wrote being under the influence of anger. Nevertheless, is it justified to get an instant permanent ban for this? With no 7 or 14 days ban, as well as with no just chat restriction for I don't know, 100 games? Pretty harsh punishment. Though, I admit that I went far beyond the norms and rules and I understand that I'm guilty, but on the other hand not agree with an instant permanent ban.

That alone would warrant a chat ban if you do this consistently. Might be a system error or a protective ban.
