League of Legends has a terrible tribunal system

I played a ranked game and our bot lane starts feeding. Everyone lets it go but they start trolling. I call bot retards and they start pretending as if they really were retarded and if they would still aloud to play. They act like the victim however they're just doing it for show. At the end of the game their scores are terrible and instead of them getting reported for trolling and feeding, I am. I think this is very unjust. League isn't worth playing anymore. Smite seems a lot more devoted and they act like they actually care.

The likelihood is both them and you got reported. You wouldn't know what, if any, punishment they got. However, if they do troll in a lot of games it is very likely they will be. Also remember, if you get a warning about being reported and didn't actually do anything to justify a punishment, you won't be punished.

I would recommend refraining from engaging a troll or rager in game. The only outcome is that you both will eventually get punished. The best way to protect yourself is to mute the players and report them at the end of the game.

Riot cares a lot. If they didn't, they wouldn't be investing so much time and energy attempting to improve all gaming communities with their work in player behaviour. However, at the end of the day, you need to be the change you want to see in the game. The more people that put effort into not responding to misbehaviour and instead reporting it, the better the game will get.
