So I finally hit honor level 2 (checkpoint 3 out of 3) the day before season 10, and now i log on today and im honor level 2 0/3 checkpoint are you kidding me??? It literally took me soo long to get here and I just get reset back for no reason, I did nothing toxic and the season resets honor now, this really sucks......,
Honor lvl always resets when the season starts
Honor 2.0 has been around for two and a half years now, and Riot has been perfectly transparent from the start about how it'll work with each new season. Every new season, Honor resets down to 2 (but not up, for those who are still Dishonorable) so that players can start the new season fresh and restart the climb to Honor Level 5.
So even if you are 5 honor level it would reset to honor level 2 0/3?
As Arcade Lulu pointed out, players at higher Honor Levels are reset to a higher position in Honor Level 2 to start out.
HL 5 > HL 2, 3/3 HL 4 > HL 2, 2/3 HL 3 > HL 2, 1/3 HL 2 > HL 2, 0/3 HL 1 > Unaffected HL 0 > Unaffected
Wow took me like 3 months of constant 5 or more games a day to get just checkpoint 3/3 for honor level 2 and now it is just reset
To be fair, you really should be aware of how the season Honor resets work. You seem to play frequently enough, judging by the fact that your account is level 156, so I can't imagine this is the first time you've had to deal with the Honor reset.
They do this type of shit to make people hate this game wow, ive spend hundreds on this game and they just reset me at 3/3 checkpoint kind of a kick in the balls for no reason great.
Now you're just strawmanning reasons to feel slighted. The Honor system wouldn't mean much if someone could just get Honor Level 5 in the very first year and then not ever have anything else to do with it. Especially considering that they tie some rare stuff exclusively to Honor, it'd be pretty bad if they could only ever get a given reward once and then just deal with what RNG they got (even if it is a 50/50 chance to get either Honor skin.)
Besides, it's not like they're actually punishing you or inhibiting you from regaining the Honor that was reset. And you have the whole year now to regain those Honor Checkpoints and then some.

Getting Honor is easy all you gotta do is not be toxic in game
did the same exact thing to me and its not fair i worked hard for that i getting anoyed with LOL i put to much time and especially and more importantly MONEY into this game for this kind of thing to happen... i see frineds who are PURE TROLLS get bans and everything and level 3 before me smh..not happy

I hit honour 3 last week... same thing, that doesn't matter, save for the fact that at least you start at 2 and not stay where you were at previous if you were below 2...
