Report system abuse

I was wondering if there is some sort of punishment for people who abuse the report system? For example, it has occurred to me many times over to call for a report to a player who is CLEARLY trolling/feeding on purpose and for the lols the opponents (usually out of grudge because I win the lane or kill him a few times) calls for a report on me for ''negative'' or wtv. I mean if every word you say can be used against you why the hell do we even have a chat? I've also tried to mute everyone and everything as soon as the game starts but against I'm threatened with reports at the end of the game.

Also I dont know how to link or show you my last games chat but, there was a draven who was feeding intentionally or was simply boosted and some veigar from the other team told me i'm flaming and shit like that. Naturally I don't pay attentions in every little word but I know the lack of testosterone riot employees suffer from, and I wouldn't wanna get banned at random since I was dumb enough to waste a few money on this game.

Nope.

The system basically looks through every log that is reported and starts learning behavior from them. If there isn't bad behavior in your logs, no punishment is applied and your account isn't moved towards a punishment, so you really don't need to worry about false reports at all. :)

  1. Based on what you typed in the thread, random personal attacks at Riot, it seem to me that you were a little more toxic than you let on when asking for reports.

  2. Don't ask for reports. What you say is inting might just be someone having a bad game. If the enemy team just sees one player having a rough day and another asking people to reporr them then they'll most likely report the player starting the witch hunt.

  3. Reports have a weight. Everyone's reports are worth 1 report at the start of their league career and that value goes up for the more reports they make against toxic players that get banned and down if they continuously report for no reason, until their reports are near worthless.
