I just got perma banned from league of legends.

I just got permanently banned and it's complete bullhit honestly. Im rarely toxic and I was just trying to enjoy a normal game until some kid started spamming me with pings so I took it upon myself to fukin tell that kid to stop pinging me nicely. I asked nicely lmao and he kept doing it which put me on the edge pretty much riot. My whole team started flaming me for asking him to stop which led to a report lmao. and after the game I got perma'd and I asked if they got punished and they didn't punish anyone but me. I didn't say anything to get perma'd, i didn;t say "KYS" or "go die in a hole" or whatever people say. Its horseshit to do that to me but not them. It sounds kiddy to say he/she started it but its complete horsehit. Just change this ban because what would you have wanted me to do? you cant mute pings and the constant icons popping on my goddamn screen riot. Give me a perma ban on chat IDC. Take my SEASON AWARDS BUT. Give me one more chance please. and I wont disappoint riot! PLS Too many friends and years on this game. Its honestly fun but the friends are the best things about this game and I cant honestly find another game like this! Ive put too much work into this game climbing the ladder slowly Please Im begging you riot. So Ive been having a pretty bad day so I wasn't last hitting very well. So I commented on how bad my csing was. (Playing Lucian with a Thresh support) About 3 minutes later Thresh starts spamming danger pings on me and enemy missing pings on me as soon as I died. I asked him to be quiet. And as soon as I spawned he kept doing it over and over the 30 minute mark when I snapped. Me and my whole team were just arguing and arguing over and over and as soon as my mid laner (swain) started pinging me I was put over the edge bad and called him (Degenerate) yes you just read that...(I know I shouldn't have said that I'm sorry if it offended others) So I decided that I was going too far and decided to try and ask nicely again and they simply didn't answer and responded with the obnoxious pinging over and fuking over.

How I Got 2 week ban. Unfortunately I was playing with my bronze 5 friend, IGN: Statistic Taco. On my main and this asol was trolling for not getting mid and I tried to make a difference for once and told the enemy team to report but they instead reported me for whatever reason at all. I have pics but its been awhile. searching for them right now

Okay. I suggest you put in a ticket to support. Be polite and honest. If you rage afkd or fed, they already know it. If this isn't the only game you were given, you can lie to us but not then, we can't help you.

But, if you've been completely honest and are polite, they MIGHT do something, this doesn't really seem like enough for a chat restriction. Be polite, concise. No huge block of text or the word bullshit.

tried that on another account for about the same thing. They don't care, their support team is crap and usually go in circles and never explain specifics or try to be sympathetic at any turn. Then again it might have been riot tantrum since I think i pissed him off a while back and he is a lead on the instafeed back/behavior punishment team, so he might have told them to tell me no. I'm on about my 17th ticket with them now. Hope you have better luck than I did, but if nothing else I hope you have another account or know of the other ways.

But if not then that sucks, I just use other accounts now and actually picked up Dota 2 since I was pissed off from all the trolls I kept getting. In the future just mute everyone at the start and use discord to try to add everyone in the game that wants to talk. Else you might get another one of these bans and have to get another account. Hope i get my main back it was in high elo and hate climbing through the ladder since it is full of so many trolls, and afkers in silver and even gold. But in plat I saw nobody leave hardly just a couple trolls here and there. Heck, i was beating diamonds in lane and having fun with the new lvl of competition until i got banned for raging at a couple trolls that were ruining a game.

It will take a while to get a response (can be a few days depending on traffic) and when you do the first response will probably be a copy paste. If you honestly did nothing else other than what you linked you have a chance of getting unbanned, but it might end up being a long drawn out fight with support over the next few weeks.

^^ this. I wish they would just silence people like they do in dota 2. Like what is the deal also with support taking so long. It takes them a day just to copy paste something. I just told Targon's blade off when he said they actively handle tickets. Like they don't even have a phone line....why are they swamped with tickets when steam has more customers overall and I can still call them up if i need help with dota 2. Even an automated system at the start is fine. And if I have to wait on the phone that is fine but when you get these copy pastas then it seems really disrespectful it took them that long to not read your comment and reply.

Also the constant report spam in this game is insane, like things that are acceptable in dota 2 aren't here like saying git gud or criticizing even. Like how are scrubs supposed to get good here? They have nobody telling them no that baron call is bad there are 5 people alive on the enemy team. Like the chat is so dead also since every high elo player knows chat can get you banned super fast. I wish I had learned that lesson sooner on my plat account. Now when the new season starts I got to mess up low elo player's games and stomp around on my way to plat again. I feel bad for those guys when I do,but if riot wants me to piss off some low elo players that is one way to do it.. Not like I ever pay for skins since most of them suck and the ones for jhin/darius make me puke in my mouth a little.

Yeah.. riot cant suppress the toxicity but its just that toxicity is what makes league of legends, league of legends. Hopefully riot can respond and let me plead my case

I checked.

  • You were throwing negative comments like "can't even last hit" & "jesus".
  • Asking for reports, which is a punishable offence.
  • Constantly whining your trouble instead of Muting him.

Is it deserved? I'd say "eh", cz there's suppose to be about 3 games worth of chat logs give to you. If you need an appeal anyway, might as well try sending a ticket to Riot Support.

  2. I see no other god damn way of telling the enemy team and my own team.
  3. There was no point in muting because you cant mute pings. And he wasnt talking at all except one line which was "I wish our adc hadnt disappeared". I honestly dont know what to tell you.

I think this is kinda wrong for you. I mean, it is wrong to call them that but you weren't toxic at first at all and you realized your mistakes. After you knew you were going too far. You deserve at least a 2 weeks or a month. The ban is too severe

Bro, I think this is a little too severe even though you called him a degenerate ( lol ). But Even though, you shouldn't be perma'd for something like this if they had a part in this too. Spamming pings on you constantly Is something enough to put anyone over the edge. Riot if you read this you should give him one more chance and if he blows it. Just perma ban him this time.

You wouldn't get perma banned for just nothing ... it means you have been reported repeatedly and punished repeatedly in a short period of time ... also ... saying to report someone is considered toxic (as I found out from a riot member recently myself) also ... you called him a degenerate as well ass chat spamming about thresh ... which is still harassing a player .... reports are based on your actions, not based on the situation.

Also ... you can't prove that this is all you were reported for and quite frankly ... I don't think this was the only game or even the end of the report considering you cropped it out as well.

Yeah. I realized I'd gone too far on degenerate. But I only said to report thresh like 3 times. I dont get how thats a reportabe offense, because how else was I suppose to report a player. Its not fuckin fair he gets off the hook unpunished.

Unfortunately it is considered toxic especially since you stated it repeatedly. Also You have had a 2 week ban recently which means you had been reported quite frequently and pings you as a highly toxic player. The ban was most likely automatic based on how often you have been banned in a short amount of time span ... you have a chance to pull up a ticket and trying to plead your case to riot. Your best chance is to prove that you are learning from the previous bans by showing that you are becoming less toxic... given the slight chance you do receive your account status back ... I suggest only speaking for positive things such as "good job or thank you" or informational things like enemy ults being down or stating that a ward is some where or such. Everything else including your abilities, summoners, buff camps and objectives are all pin-gable. Just mute all chat and speak as little as possible. It's easier to just not talk then it is to know every little thing that offends someone on the internet.

Woooooow. I really feel for you man. I mean, I know that asking for reports is a no-no, which others have told you, but honestly, the ping spam is one of the only things that legit makes me want to toxic. I can't stand it, and I've never found a way to stop it. I've turned the sounds on it down as low as possible, but then you still see the symbols that go along with it on the screen and it's just obnoxious in general.

Being 7 months since the time of your temp ban, and looking at the logs of this, I really don't think this ban was justified. You asked him nicely to stop, you didn't yell at him, or go off on him in any way. Heck, I wouldn't even have called for a chat restriction for calling someone a degenerate one time. If all of your other matches are this mild and polite, then hopefully Riot Support will have a bit of mercy this time and relent. Best of luck, and I really, really hope this gets overturned for you.

I would really like to know how to mute someones pings without turning off the sound. I have been playing since season 3 and I have yet to find any option for it.

This is pretty much false.

I've had some pretty heated banter in my games, and I've never been banned. People seem to have a general tolerance to banter despite what the PBM might suggest what with their delicate snowflake personas. That said, there is still a standard of behavior. If you become whiny or petulant or annoying, people will report you. If your banter is clever, short, and sweet, people won't report you.

It is possible to be loose, not give a fuck, and have some raunchy/crass/crude/politically incorrect fun without being an insufferable asshole. I mean, it's hard not to be an asshole if you do the above, but at least you can not be insufferable.

my experience is that people dont report for toxicity. they report for people sucking with being toxic on the side. meaning you can do or say whatever you want. as long as you win the game
