Stuck at honor 3

So I've never been banned or even chat ristricted in the past 2 seasons, I think some way through las season I may of gotten the "everyone has a bad day..." Automated message to warn you when you get reported but nothing this season. And while I have not been the best summoner ever I'm mostly not toxic, I tend to mute people the second I feel they might cause friction. I have been getting honors pretty regularly and sometimes most honorable but I've been stuck at LVL 3 since I've hit it. Is there like an invisible lock out that you can get to when you get reported enough to not gain honor but not enough to get locked out of rewards?

How much have you played league? 'cause i think the honors don't really boost your honor lvl, but just playing does

I think they took out the warning because it just caused confusion, also i read somewhere that if you got a valid report it slows your progress with or without a punishment.

I'm in the same boat. I haven't moved passed honor 3 with no known reports or punishments. I may have had a 10 game chat restriction sometime in the last year.

I think just playing the game will help you gain 'experience' as long as you do so in a good way and don't have anything negative hit your account.

Honors DO slightly boost your gains and will help you progress a little faster although an exact amount hasn't been given to my knowledge.

So, just keep on playing and being a great person and you'll get there!

IDK how it works. I have Honor 5 here and mostly stopped once I got to gold just doing missions left, then went to my other acct to grind it from S4 to G5. Played A LOT more on that account than here yet that one is stuck at Honor 3 despite doing the same thing on both accts

I have a rough idea on how the honor system works.

I got a couple questions for you:

  1. Do you play with premades often?
  2. If yes to 1, do you tend to honor your premades or the randoms? 2.a) If no to 1, are you making sure you honor someone else after every game?
