Yes. You queue up to complete a game. If people are flaming you, you are free to utilize the mute function and report them after. You are not free to break the rules - i.e. flame them back, leave the game, or intentionally feed/troll in retaliation.

Yes. Just mute, report, and move on in the future.

I don't think this guy actually got banned.... I think he's asking if "it's justified [if] I get banned for it"

If you can't handle it, by all means remove yourself from the situation, just uh.... don't make a habit of it. Do everything you can to complete the game. Show you are the bigger person.

I've left maybe... 4-5 games total out of the hundreds I played because I couldn't handle the flame, and once I muted, couldn't handle the physical trolling. Sometimes you just need that breath. Always make sure to note in the chat log why it is you are leaving. Especially if you have anxiety or heart issues. But again... don't make a habit of it.

Mute. You left you deserve punishment.

have you tried muting them instead?

It's that little "speaker" button next to their name in the scoreboard.

You don't get banned from leaving one game. You get banned for having a habit of leaving games. Either you're misrepresenting your punishment, or you're misrepresenting how often you leave.

-1 + -1 = -2

As others have said, muting the flamers is the best solution. The only time I would ever purposely leave a game is if people are inting without letting the enemy finish off the game. That is what we refer to as "holding the game hostage".

Yep. A well-deserved one as well. Just because your team is flaming you doesn't mean you just up and leave. How you can help the situation is use the in-game mute function that Riot put in there for those very purposes.

Just mute everyone who is flaming you. They put the mute function in the game specifically so people wouldn't leave after arguing. You do deserve the ban.
