So elo boosting is bannable, but what about coaching? I'm entertaining the thought that it's ME that could be the reason why I'm not ranking up. Although I struggle with the idea when I get team mates that I highly doubt grasp the concept of the game. So is purchasing a coach bannable?
There are many youtube videos up where people show coaching and they still have active accounts. I think it would be really backwards to actually punish asking for help to get better from a person.
Overall, Riot wants people to have a positive gaming experience and learn and get better, right?
Outside of $, what's the difference between a friend teaching you techniques vs someone you don't know teaching you techniques?
I mean it's not like you're altering the game, using scripts, hacks, etc...
The reason elo boosting is bannable is basically because someone insert random diamond boosts a guys account to diamond and then the bronze player gets his account back and starts ruining games. Coaching on the other hand aims to improve the bronze player to diamond level thus resulting in the player belonging in diamond and no games are ruined. coaching is completly legal according to the terms and conditions. pro players have coaches to improve their play and there are even pro coaches that coach other players and are paid to do so.
No this isn't bannable, or else places like pro guides would be out of business. I don't think its against the rules at all to get help from someone.
I'd like to hear from anyone @Riot from this, just for some clarity / something totally concrete.

Generally its not as long as you are playing your own account, and aware that Riot takes no responsibility and has nothing to do with the service being provided its not illegal..\
Also buying ELO Boosting, isn't illegal as long as (YOU PLAY YOUR OWN ACCOUNT.) Pay them outside and don't talk about it on riots service and have a person or two duo with you to increase your chances of winning (Certain services officer this.)
Also https://www.skill-capped.com/ is completely legal coaching.
It's not bannable, it's just stupid. Watch youtube videos and practice.
