How Does Riot Deal With Racist Behaviour?

I reported someone who said the N word in a game, referring to the fact that we had Lucian, Ekko, and Nid on one team. Obviously, I screenshot and reported the person. When I asked to make sure a human saw the screenshot, I was told that what they do can't be disclosed for privacy reasons.

Fine, but what are your protocols for players like this? I ask because I have been called the N word enough to absolutely loathe the experience of someone using the word, and if I feel that there isn't a 0 tolerance policy towards racism (i.e., chat restriction instead of a straight up perma-ban) then I just can't bring myself to continue playing, as reporting is the only way I can deal with that behaviour, but if there isn't a perma-ban, the situation isn't dealt with.

Ticket reports are slow compared to the post game report screen, plus you won't recieve instant feedback when you use tickets. I only use tickets when it's something I need to report from out of game.

Also, there's no need to take screen shots and or videos to submit to them as evidence. Riot already has all the chat logs, all the vods, they even have a more detailed of the vod, where they can see people's click location, their click speed, panning methods, timing of scoreboard usages and what not.

They get banned for doing it...... eventually. And they generally get banned faster than trolls since there really is a verifiable record of them saying those things. The problem is they just make new accounts and keep doing the same things they always have.

You literally get instantly banned if you say the N word and even 1 person reports you in the post game lobby... Why does this post exist?

I've had multiple people banned for saying it, Usually I get a feedback notice directly after the game sometimes I don't

14 day ban first offense, permaban after.

How Does Riot Deal With Racist Behaviour [sic]?

The previous posts explain how Riot deals with racist text. People can (and do) type all sorts of racist and horrible things that will get them punished. I'm not entirely sure how one would show racist behavior within the game - the only thing that comes to mind would be snubbing them / ignoring them if you have knowledge of their 'race' and believe that said 'race' is inferior to your own. So I guess if you knew the player personally, or knew who they were, you could demonstrate racist behavior. If I refused to chat with Yell0wstar in game (or on voice-chat) because he's Asian, that would be racist behavior (which I would obviously never do as he's an Alistar GOD).

I'm not splitting hairs or trying to be a contrarian, the wording just got me thinking is all.

Peace.
