So I just got permabanned...can someone explain how this is permaban worthy? : (

I understand these were two rough games and i maybe wasnt the kindest....but permaban worthy???????

Ive never gotten longer than a 14 day suspension nor have i had chat ban in months.....can Lyte or someone explain the permaban worthy of this???? I accept a chat restriction or the like but how can this possibly be a permaban : /

It's not the severity that got you perma-banned it was the number of times that they have HAD to suspend your account. If you couldn't learn from the previous 3 times you were punished, why should they bother keeping you around?

Its pretty sad that to this day people dont seem to understand how bans work despite Riot and fellow Forum Users telling people who make post like this.

First off the way punishments are handle now is in Tiers. You get 2 types of Chat Restrictions, a 14 day ban, and then Permaban. Doesn't matter what you do, if you break the rules its usually how it goes down in terms of punishment. Also note that you can skip tiers in what you did in your games was severe. And that it does take some time to actually drop tiers. im pretty sure everyone who does get punished gets a different set of how long it takes to drop in tiers of punishment.

Second, This set of chatlogs isnt the reason why you are permaban. Despite the fact that this is a clear evidence of you breaking the rules. As people have stated you were very toxic in chat; in terms of: Being negative overall throughout the game, Threatening to AFK, calling people useless/trash, and fishing for reports. All of these are against the rules. This is worthy of a punishment. It just so happen that the next tier of punishment for you is the Permanent one.

But honestly the reason for the Permanent is how you continue to break the rules. How many chances do you need in order to learn that you are not only breaking the rules, but ruining it for others who you are playing with. Yes there are people who might be worse than you, but that doesnt give you the right to break the rules. Thats why we use the saying "Two wrongs dont make a right". People are always going to break the rules, its just the way life is, people do it in real life. But that doesnt mean you can break the rules by being toxic/harassing them. it doesnt solve the problem. You are not judge, jury, executioner. You want to get back at these people, mute them and report them after the game. Its that simple. They might not get punished right away, but if they do continue to break the rules they will eventually get punished, just as you were.

Permaban is what happens after the 14 day suspension when you still get into it with other players.

And you need to have neutral and positive games to even out the bad ones. A lot of them

I dont see anything wrong =/ I think anyone trying to climb only to have incompetent allies would be this frustrated I cant say its their fault for being scared? incompetent? Bad at the champion they chose?

Look everyone deserves to play the game, I get that Its that its really sad and frustrating when you get stuck with the latter. Its not like youre not willing to work together to win but then again the chances of anyone listening is slim to none

10 game chat restriction 25 game chat restriction 14 day Ban

that came before this last punishment.

By reaching a permanent ban you have shown that you refuse to reform.

This would not have escalated your account straight to a permanent ban. However it is definitely negative enough to warrant a punishment and your next tier of punishment was obviously a permanent ban. I would tell you that it was deserved but I think you already know this.

Punishments escalate. After 14 day, it's a perma for the next punishment regardless of severity.

TBH. I wouldn't want to play with you. Ever. From your statements it seems there have been numerous temporary punishments. Repeated behavior like this warrants a permaban.

I probably would have just muted you within 5-10 min rather than report you myself. I report if rage-fests continue in post game lobby, but even that is fairly rare for me. Perhaps reporting is done too liberally, but I can't say I'm sorry that I won't encounter you on the Rift.

the account can be suspended/ban at any time with or without reason given to the player

They don't need to give you a reason so there you go

If you are really concerned as to why you were perma-banned, try submitting a ticket on Riot's support website. They may be able to answer you, and POSSIBLY help you out of your situation. I say possibly since the punishment/ban system is set up to do things somewhat on its own, so they may not be able to modify or mess with the results much.

Still, you can always try. I've had help from the Support Team in the past and they are very helpful, cool, and friendly people.
