Pre-game(champselect) Reportfunction

So I was looking through my tickets I've send to Riot, and I saw some of them were reporting people, who had the intention to troll in the champ select, for example; a guy who banned our midlaner and locked onto Nunu with Ghost and Cleanse. It made me wondering.

What if we could get a report system which made it possible for us to report players after a dodge in the champ select or something like that. Because now currently the only oppurtunity is to make a Ticket, the way I did it. But for the most of us, it will take too long in comparisson to the post-game reporting system in which you can just select the reason why to report and write some nice text.

What are your thoughts about it? Let me know in the comments. Let's hope @Riot will read this aswell!

Thank you for reading, and have fun in the Rift, Summoners! [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Ahh yes, Insert the thought crimes. Report people before they can even do anything. Oh no, YOU personally dont approve of someones champion selection or summoners spells. Better report the person before the game and get them banned BEFORE they even do anything, right?

You essentially want to report someone for a match that DIDNT HAPPEN. You want Leona, they choose soraka. OOOPS they didnt follow your meta, they are obviously greifing you, time to report them

you cannot report people because YOU do not approve of thier champion selection/summoner spells You cannot report people for a match that did not happen You cannot report people for Not picking the "pre-approved" champion selection.

Adding in a feature to "pre-game report function" will encourage people to Bait ban and instigate for the sole purpose of reporting people even before the match even starts. On second thought....please do add it in.... It will do WONDERS to chase away even MORE of leagues shrinking playerbase and drop leagues popularity even further. All so people like you can pat themselves on the back and get a shiny scalp medal. League of legends Minority report, Banned for future crimes.

Okay, so here is the only way I could see a system as this being able to work; basically a design/format for it.

-When players accept a pop, a game server/room is created in the system (based on chat logs getting pulled from a server, this makes rough sense on how that works). -Somewhere on the screen there is a dodge/panic/report button. -Pressing this button prompts a pop up asking to confirm and inform that you will suffer dodge penalties for its use. -It sends everyone who didn't press the button back to queue and the button pusher goes to a post game screen to be able to report. -Abuse of the button results in dodge penalties, LPQ, and bans if done too often with no reports filed.

The system described above would keep pregame logs for the system to check for claims of intent to troll/feed. Since there is no evidence that they did troll or feed though, Chat punishment tiers would be used instead. All this would do though would make people not say anything in pre game if they want to troll.
