Ranked - Feeders, Leavers

So I just played a game, and I had this top laner, who was losing lane - 0/2, but he was csing well, he was really tilted and negative saying how we were gonna lose and blaming everything on the team, saying how nobody wanted to help him. Note that this was still during the laning phase too, we were around level 7 or 8? So basically he expected me, who was bot lane, and everyone else to go up top just to help him. But nobody did that so he became toxic and started cursing everyone out. Even through this I tried to encourage him nicely to play telling him it's ok just do your best. But this guy is something else, he still continued to flame us despite our best efforts to try to encourage him and telling him that he was doing well. Eventually, he decided to leave and come back occasionally to feed. I think it's really unfair that the rest of my team, including me lost points and wasted time and on top of that got put even further behind in our climb because someone decided to be toxic. I mean yes, we all reported him, I hope. But at the same time, that doesn't matter to me as much as losing my points, because it's a waste of 45 mins. I have to play another game just to get back to where I started. So thats 90 minutes out the window. Isn't there a possibility that people who are with these people get a loss prevented rather than a LP deduction? I mean it's really not fair even if he does get punished for it.

I hear you man and I'm actually dealing with something similar and am looking on how to post a vid to a riot employee at the moment.

You're in good company, sadly, or perhaps I've been just permanently cursed by the Riot Mainframe. I can't even be bothered to play ranked anymore- my last game being a textbook example. You know that Koreans vs. Chimps meme? Always. Always, always, always. I would never say "blah blah it's my team's fault" for the loss- it's never the TEAM. It's just... always... that one... F#$%ING GUY. The guy who opens the game saying "Yeh guyz Im gonna drive it down top", goes 0-4 to the enemy Riven within 8 minutes, and starts flaming the team good and hard. Now this is where it gets fun.

The midlaner and I attempt to talk the guy down. I gank his lane twice, securing some easy farm for him and relieving pressure. My team is uncharacteristically tolerant, and we make a fair play to apologize for the hard time and guide the dude to some kind of equilibrium, if not success. The star tip? BUY ARMOR. He blithely ignores our attempts at help, continues working on his Triforce at a glacial rate, and flames some more for good measure on his next several deaths (chasing in jungle, river, etc.).

Riot needs to implement a /remake function in which four of a team's members can in a unanimous vote get a Loss Prevention within the first 15 minutes of the game, provided everyone's willing to type a couple sentences for corroborating reports.

Please, Santa Gragas. Please.

Lets math.....................................

Assuming you never feed or afk: Your team: OOOO (4 random players who may feed or afk)

Opponents: OOOOO (5 random players who may feed or afk)

The odds are in your favor. You're focusing on the negative, looking for league to white knight for you like a true beta.
