Permanently banned because my teammates didn't like my choice and Bard was trolling.

Honestly this new system where they only show the conversation from side it atrocious. The other players could be swearing and spewing hate speech at a person to provoke them but it is completely ignored. Here though, there is no blatant swearing, just me trying to get a Bard to stop trolling. 5 times he ran infront of the minion wave to get grabbed by Blitzcrank, going "oops, i guess i forgot lol", just before he would immediately run away from a team fight with his tunnel thing, or he would ult his own teammates guaranteeing we'd lose the fight. But, being bronze and being the elo it is, he can go "ryze adc, please report" and players on each side of the team will go "Yea, sorry about that, how he gets banned" THOUGH I AM LEGITIMATELY TRYING TO FARM AND PLAY SAFE AND WIN, and there is someone VISIBLY, NOTICABLY, ACTUALLY TROLLING, but they are on the side of the troll.

AND THIS WAS WORTH A PERMANENT BAN? VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV

You type a lot... but that's not a crime. Asking someone to report another player is harassment though. I would appeal through a support ticket as this is pretty Diet Coke as far as chat harassment goes. Hopefully they will give you another chance.

Bill is playing League of Legends Bill is trying to see if an Out-Of-Meta pick is still viable Bill gets flamed by teammates. Bill could play TF's Victim Card. But Bill mutes everyone and continues playing. Bill is being trolled by teammates Bill could again play TF's Victim Card. But just like Top Lane Lee Sin, it doesn't help. So Bill continues playing without saying 18 million lines of bitchy attitude. Bill might lose a bit of LP, but he remains untilted.

Bans are not taken from just one game, but they will show you the chat logs of the final game that got you banned. So take that into account before complaining about the system.

I played a game with a Trist who gave up 5 minutes in because they got grabbed by Blitz. They blamed me because i dodged out of the way, assuming they would also dodge since it was very telegraphed, and didn't stop them from dying. They could have survived but the Trist decided, that this was a good chance to kill the enemy ADC and jumped on top of them. Of course it was not a good chance as we were both lower leveled and I was decently far away so I couldn't assist. After this they started purposely dying all game, they would jump into several enemies in all lanes and feed on purpose, because "the game was over a long time ago"... and this was only like 10-15 minutes into the game... Everytime anyone said anything to them, they basically threw it in our face that Riot would ban us before they would ban them. So guess what I did? I didn't insult or yell at them. I asked the enemy team to watch what Trist does and judge for themselves whether she was doing it on purpose, it was obvious and they agreed to report the Trist. End of story. I didn't get banned because I had the self control to not be "baited", that is a poor excuse, you have 100% control of yourself and no one else can force you to say anything.

Except they only showed me one chat log when i login and it says i'm permabanned. Does this chat look like a permabannable reason? Yes or no.

Hypothetically lets say they were punished previously for offences. The question about THIS INSTANCE. THE INSTANCE that got him permabanned. IN THIS INSTANCE was there any hint of aggressive obscenity or rage fueled hate speech over another player being stupid because they didn't agree with another players character choice, or was there a simply constant attempt to get ONE player to stop going out of their way to RUIN the game for 4 players. I don't get why people love to support trolls who are trolling in this game. It is NOT WHAT WE WANT IN THE COMMUNITY. Good players are punished, bad players are praised.

I my experience you just have to mute all teammates and play your game, if people are going to screw around and mess with others gameplay than that is just what happens, its only 20-40 minutes out of your day. its best to just keep trying to practice cs in games like this and maybe objective steals? rather than fueling everyone else on the team with hate/rage for eachother. I hope this advice helps you on your next account.

Hey man, sorry to hear you got banned. Hopefully Riot will fix it, because this doesn't look like a permabanned case at all. I was play Lulu top during the time that people would afk and players would report you on both sides of the fence for going Lulu top so I understand it when a player trolls you for playing a way that isn't common, and everyone blames you for that player trolling. "Had you picked properly they wouldn't of trolled, so its your fault." No bad language in here, 90% pleading with one player to stop trolling. This didn't deserve a ban.

It really is sad how unfair and one sided the banning system is. It doesn't seem to require a good reason, just enough votes. I bet if he hadn't said anything all game and 9 people voted against him, he'd still end up banned, despite another player clearly griefing and trolling. I hope he gets unbanned. Why do we have such a strong community that immediately punish players for utilizing different strategies? I'm pretty sure in one of the messages of a previous update they were promoting us to break the mold of the usual 1 top 2 jungle mid META set up and not be afraid to try new things. People shouldn't have to be subjected to players who will punish others for trying new things.

This alone could get you banned.

  1. Asking for reports is both useless, and considered harassment, and is reportable.
  2. after the 4th time the troll ignored you, you were dumb enough to continue to feed the troll, and respond. You did this to yourself. Suck it up. You played yourself.

Rule of thumb, if it will get you a 10-game chat restriction it will get you a permaban, it's just a matter of continuing that behavior after a 2-week ban.

That said, this doesn't look like it warrants even a 10-game chat restriction.

Well, the first chat log isn't that toxic but, you were still unsportmanlike and being unsportmanlike isn't good for you and for your team. Even if there is a troll in your team, it don't gives you the right to bully this troll or give him attention. You got reported because you had an negative attitude at the end and you were unsportmanlike. I'm waiting for the next chat lag because there is alimit of 2 or 3. If not, you are just trolling and got a chat restriction by pretneding you were perma banned for this.

Asking for other people to report someone is harassment and believe it or not it does not matter if 1 person reports someone or 9 people, it just flags riot to look at their account.

Also I'm guessing you had other things like chat restrictions and a lesser game time ban before this so I doubt you got permabanned for just this.

Anyone trying to get another bad player on my team to stop trolling deserves 10 skins, in my books. Riot just doesn't address the real problem of trolls, and the ones trying to stop teh trolling get punished teh worst.
