My game generally crashes at least once per game. It's usually a second or so after the first death, but not necessarily. My most recent game crashed 3 times in the first 5 minutes before I threw my hands up and gave up.
Do I really deserve to be in low priority queue because Riot's code crashes on my system? Can someone at Riot review and see that the games I've been leaving have been due to crashes?
Chermorg6 votesThis is akin to saying "Do I deserve to be at fault for a traffic light not functioning, me driving straight through it assuming it's green, and hitting someone who stopped, thought they had the right of way (as it's a four way stop when a light isn't functioning)?" The answer is yes, it is your fault.
The issue is more likely your computer, your OS, other programs on your computer, or something you're doing than Riot's code. If it was Riot's code, it would be happening to everyone, or at least a very large portion of the player base (even different computer companies use similar chips, and unless your computer is completely custom built it's virtually guaranteed another League player has the exact same computer you do).
Even if it is Riot's fault, you're queueing up for games while you know you have issues, which is your fault. Resolve your issues before you keep AFKing games.
Chuck Woolery2 votesI've reached out on the boards multiple times, reported it in the bug megathreads on reddit, ran LoL repair, etc., and the issue hasn't been fixed. I'm simply playing on a mac. That's it. Nothing special. I don't have access to Riot's code to fix their problem, so it's in their hands.

Further, even if it is their fault, that doesn't give you the right to keep playing knowing your have issues. Maybe you should, idk, ask Riot's Technical Support team for help finding the problem and fixing it instead of just complaining on reddit?

I feel that is so insanely unlikely.. but even so, it's still your fault because you queue for a game knowing the game will not function.

Also, I'm redownloading the game as we speak. It's the only thing I haven't done beyond the repair.

You agreed to the Terms of Use which don't allow for refunds and govern the punishment for leaving a game for any reason. I strongly suggest you work with support to find the cause of your issue. Make a new ticket if you have to.

You should take the time to diagnose and fix your game. Re-install, repair, solicit technical support, etc. By repeatedly entering games knowing that you expect to crash multiple times, you're deliberately putting your teammates at a disadvantage every time you play. How can you not take responsibility for that?
You say you've tried. Try harder. I can honestly say I'd sooner quit than continue to play under the conditions you have, because I respect other gamers enough not to fuck up their games.
Chermorg's analogy is fine, but I'd take it a step further. You're intentionally putting your unsuspecting teammates' interests at risk every time you queue up. I'd liken that to consistently offering to take your friends on important car rides to various appointments, despite knowing that your air bags don't function, your license is suspended, you're partially blind, and your friends aren't told any of this until they're on the highway with you.

I'm sure I don't need to explain why you crashing during a game is detrimental to your team's success. By your own admission, you crashed so much in a recent game that you simply gave up. With that as a constant possibility, and some lesser version of that an almost guarantee according to your first post, you're a massive liability.
I play League on a fairly low-spec computer. The game runs fine, but it probably wouldn't if my computer was any worse than it is. If I was below that threshold, experiencing framerate loss and lag to the point where I was often unable to properly play the game, I'd fix it or quit. Fuck my own desire to play at that point, I'd have to knowingly and selfishly screw over 4-9 other players to keep on playing. I'm not that sort of guy.
There's a problem, and it falls to you to fix it. Riot's gonna keep you in low priority until you stop callously interfering with the ability of other players to play this game.

So it is Riot that changed things.
is it the players fault? No. Should he play ranked? Only if he thinks / knows he will not get kicked out of the game. And he had the idea he could. Why should a sane person play ranked if he know he cant play it?
