MLGamerDude - Summoner search results - League of Legends

-Message was sent directly to support, I decided to share it with the community. What do you guys think about this? Hi Rito,

Tonight I was in a good mood and decided to play a rank game of league of legends. During the game, I was teamed up with a player, who was obviously trolling the entire game (15mins). The player who was playing riven top against a shaco went 0/12/0 and kept inting and pretending that he was lagging obviously when he wasn't. When I asked him to ping his ping, he replied back that he didn't know how to and it wouldn't work when I teammate explained how to ping it. The part that tilted me the most was when he was pinging his ping earlier in the game. It is really sad to see how the league community had become. That game, I was demoted to from bronze 1 to bronze 2 and I have literally been playing close to 200 rank games from bronze 3(placed in) just to find out that I am in bronze 2. I am super disappointed that there is nothing that done to this issue. I am not the only player who experience the issue of troll teammates. I find it unfair whenever my opponent or myself is left with either an afk or troll player on our team. I know that you have implemented the lower priority queue as a repercussion for the player's actions (afk) but there has not really been anything changed/done to the troll issue. Because the player being banned, nothing has been done that instant to the teammates of the trolling player. I wish and hope that you guys at riot can figure out a plan to resolve this issue. My suggestion is that you negate the lp drop after losing the game. One problem I see is that you can't do it instantly unless you create some sort of trolling detection device. Maybe if like 8 out of the 9 players (not the troll) agree that one player is trolling, there will be a remake or each team gains lp besides the troll(he gets deducted lp). This way, both team will not feel reluctant to vote (because they don't want to waste time and remake or they want the free lp). Please consider my suggestion and at least try it out. I really believe that everyone in the league community will respect and appreciate it if you guys make the appropriate changes. Thank You,

While I agree that everyone in the league community would appreciate Riot making an appropriate change that mitigated the effects of trolls/inters on a game, I disagree with the changes you suggest.

My main problem is the voting system. If you go with the first suggestion, then there is no incentive for winning team members to help vote out the troll. In fact members of the winning team would probably refrain from voting out troll because it would potentially require them to give up their win. A counterargument would be that people on the winning team would help vote out the troll because "it is the right thing to do."

To these people I respond with I don't take this argument seriously because, although it is sad, while I do trust that the majority of the community would do the right thing, I do not trust that it will be enough of a majority to make a difference.

As for the second suggestion, what is to prevent players from throwing others under the bus for the incentives? For example, the free lp?

In short, while I like the idea, I do not feel like this is the right way to go about it.

Then again, who am I to criticize considering I haven't suggested a better idea.
