Right, so, I'll get straight to the point.

The way that Riot handles a fair bit of these bans is pretty shitty. They aren't really banning the right people sometimes. I'm not here to say I'm a perfect person or anything, but I'm not the type of guy that's going to give someone shit unless they deserve it. I'll be toxic towards others who are being toxic. The only times I ever get mad at people are when they're trolling, being toxic, or when I asked them not to do x thing and they continually do it and end up not helping the team in any way. I do not yell at every player. In my last match, I was mad at 2 of my teammates. I had 2 other teammates that were doing just as bad, but I did not say things to them. Why? Because they weren't toxic and talking shit. I got mad at the people who were, and yet I'm the one who gets a ban? For what? I'm not the one even starting these flame wars. I don't care to report the people who are starting shit since I'm just not going to let affect me after the match, but I get reported by tons of butthurt trolls and now I've been perma banned because of it.

I believe in my 14 day ban email (I am now perma banned) there was a quote saying that people from both parties would be punished equally. Now, in the match that I was reported for, I actually did report the other party in the argument. One of the few times in which I do so. Turns out he never even got a 1 day ban since I checked him up on some league stat site (Can't recall which one) and saw him playing the next day. So the fact that Riot lies about how they handle cases, and how they don't look at both sides of the case just shows me that they don't know what they're doing.

This isn't really a post to get me unbanned. I should not have been banned in the first place, but whatever.

Thoughts would be appreciated.

Maybe it was their first offense, and they just got chat restrictions?

And people don't get punished for one game. Maybe they were just really bad that game and weren't toxic the other games.

Regardless, just because someone is being shitty to you doesn't mean you need to be shitty back. That just makes things worse for the other three people on your team, or the other 8 people in the game if you're doing it in all chat.

If you can tell me how to get the chat logs of both other players from the match, I will gladly post the entire conversation

If you are now perma banned then you can get your chat logs from the e-mail that you received. Post them as soon as you find them or ask Riot to since you are on here.

why do people think that retaliation is an appropriate way to handle toxicity? This isn't the old testament with an eye for an eye. Regardless of how someone treats you, you are still responsible for how you treat them.

Valendrome (NA) - 2 minutes ago People are different. In my opinion people are never going to stop being an asshole unless they realize how they're acting. If you just brush it off, they're never going to change.

THIS is 100 % true and it starts with people like you ! You have to realize how your acting and reacting in-game. You are just as much the Ass as the others !

If you brush it off then you don't start a flame war ! Every time someone reacts with a rude comment then they set it up for a flame war and anyone who partakes in this is just as culpable !

Because you are being defensive right now meaning that you likely understand that you overstepped and now are sorry for it, and I understand and feel for you to an extent.

Just step back for a day and think about it , put up those chat logs and look at them when you are not so hopped up and I would hope you have a different opinion when you create another account.

I am trying to be respectful to you as you seem to be to me so far, so you can be polite just use that and don't take such offence, please man

Like I said, I'm a nice guy, I have no reason to be a dick to you, so I'm not going to. It just bugs me that people are the exact opposite and don't care about being an asshole to random people. That's why I get pissed and say shit back to them.

Yes, your right here !! However, you and I don't have access to the records !! You just said you now have a perma and you have to go out of your way to get one...

It is no longer, I defended my teammate in a game, No when someone gets permanently banned they were being an extreme Ass in game. I wish I had been able to talk to you before you got this permanent ban because I could have told you how to play the game and have FUN and at least Not get that. As it is I can only hope others will look at this section of the board and understand.

The thing is you can't fight shit with shit ! I could quote you and say w/e and I could dispute things you say in your OS, But the fact is: Be the bigger person and try to be decent.

14 day ban is one off a perma so please don't come on saying that you did Nothing wrong, You did something against the TOS many times and did so in a fashion that people turned you in.

I say something to every nasty person in game and Yet I never receive even so much as a warning, So everyone can stand up to the bullies you just can't be an ASS...Put up Chat Logs please.

Yeah, but it's not like I want to make people feel like shit just because they do bad. I ended up getting the perma ban, but that doesn't necessarily mean I deserved it.

But see it does mean you get the perma and I think your a person who can reform...

I think many times we forget that people are just that ! Feelings and pressure and You my Friend can make a new account and use what other are telling you to help, if you want to.

Beware though, Riot is making a bold new step and leading the pack on the internet gaming I for one am glad about it. Don't mistake the banns for being harsh as they are long in coming and people are going to have to relearn how to behave.
