So Riot permabanned my account for toxic behavior, behavior a result of toxic scripting.

So my matchmaking experiences has been destroyed by toxic scripters who can multi-que aka party with 4 people on my team, and the opposing team. This is all done through advanced hacking, and programs and my only response to this toxic form of stalking/scripting is to say toxic things in retaliation. What would any normal person do under these same circumstances ? I realize my problem probably extends to the clientside of things, but if Riot had found a way to alter the matchmaking algorithim to deter these kinds of scripts from ever working at all then I would never have this problem in entirety. The fact that my Network, or computer may be compromised is my problem, but the fact of the matter is there is a huge problem with scripters in general, and none of these scripters who are abusing the matchmaking algorithim in order to multi-que are ever banned or punished.

The worst part about this is I attempted to open a support ticket to figure out how I was being stalked by these toxic scripters in matchmaking, and I could not even get a proper response from the support tech. In fact, he ignored everything I said entirely and asked for a bunch of irrelevant non-helpful things that would do nothing at all to help me understand, or prevent these people from finding within matchmaking.

There is a serious problem with toxic hackers/scripters/cheaters in this game, and I think Riot should spend more time figurign out ways to prevent all of this rather than perma banning accounts all the time. Saying toxic things in chat is far less toxic than people who script/cheat/abuse the game in such ways.

Anyway, this was a rant/frustration post but I have every right to vent following the fact my acc was unjustly perma banned.

And all Riot has to do is check the IP Addresses ( if it's possible ? ) or the countries of the people queing in my games, or even watch the games to see what I am saying is 100% accurate, and true.

I mean the seriousness of cheating/scripting in multiplayer games is something most major companies overlook, and do nothing about. People have posted about scripting, multi-que hacking all over the place, so we know it exists. I don't understand how such toxicity could be allowed within any game.

Alter the matchmaking algorithim and keep it secret enough so that NO ONE can ever create scripts, or programs that allow people to multi-que. This is a serious toxic problem and it needs to be resolved by Riot because my matchmaking experience has been destroyed by these pathetic toxic people who use such scripting to ruin my games.

My acc was permabanned for toxic behavior due to the result of a much more toxic problem and that is scripting and multi-que hacking in matchmaking.

I hope that my account being permabanned won't be in vain, and Riot will do something to alter matchmaking enough to end multi-que scripting, and any other form of scripting within the game. I hope that the attempt is at least there, and Riot tries to fix the problem. While I don't necessarily agree with, or condone my behavior, and I am not saying that my behavior is justified by it is a normal human response to what is happening on my accounts.

And if my problem stretches entirely to a client side related problem then I have no one to blame here but myself, but I believe the problem is also within the matchmaking algorithim, and the fact that so much public information is available about how matchmaking works allows hackers to create such scripts.

Truthfully, I am not even a toxic person, and my behavior is the only result of a normal psychological human response to being stalked/trolled/ and pushed into such bad behavior by players who are specifically using matchmaking scripts to target me within normal que.

Again, if I lied about any of this than I give Riot the permission to IP Ban any account that I use.

I hope my acc won't be banned in vain once again as I say.. fix the problem Riot.

Well anyway vent over

>your house gets lit on fire >in retaliation, you light the criminals' entire neighborhood on fire >"WHY DO I HAVE TO GO TO JAIL TOO??"

Here's my thinking on the situation:

Firstly, to the best of my knowledge, all matchmaking is performed server-side - so there's not really much players can do to ensure they wind up in a game with any particular person. They can queue at the same time and hope, but that would only work through a combination of similar MMR, fantastic timing, and luck. Nothing client-side would be able to affect that.

Secondly, if you're right, and there's a bunch of people stalking you from game to game, you should have something you can give Riot about it - name lists, play styles, etc. - to support your claim. After all, if merely playing the games is enough for you to recognize it, following the metadata available to Riot (IP addresses, player "fingerprints," etc) should allow them to make the same determination, right?

Thirdly, even if your claim is entirely accurate, that's still no excuse for you to resort to toxicity. Riot's stance on retaliation is very straight-forward: retaliation is not acceptable.

Honestly, though, I don't even know how such a thing would be possible. MMR isn't publicly available, and without being able to ensure that you have similar MMR, there's not really even a chance of being in a game with a particular target. Furthermore, with matchmaking being handled server-side, there's not really a meaningful way to manipulate it to force anything, short of directly hacking into Riot's servers. It also seems like a waste - if you can guarantee particular parts of a match, why would you use such a tool to troll some random guy instead of, say, using it to guarantee Ranked wins.

There is no physical proof that the people in your games are the same people multiple times (unless you have some) or that they are scripting (which I know is a thing, don't argue that). Your account being banned has nothing to do with it, because toxic speech is a completely different thing and is unrelated to scripting. Riot already has a system to catch scripters, and I've witness it work on multiple occasions. Plus, if you understood how hard it would be to create a perfect ban and punishment system for scripting, 3rd party programs, etc, you wouldn't be yelling at Riot to get on it. If they did that, we would have no gameplay, lore, updates at all.

Rather than complaining for someone else to fix a problem you encounter, fix it yourself. If you have a platform or way to counter act this, post it. If not, move on. We all know these things and they won't change with posts like these.

Clearly neither of you read anything I wrote. I appreciate your useless comments though. You're about as useful as Riot technical support.

Dude riot doesn't give a shit about anyone or anything but money, they don't know anything about balance, they don't care about fair play, all they care about is lining their pockets and making it appear like their game isn't complete garbage.

...this is true, although, i should mention that the scripters are not necessarily as smart as the people who make them, they seem to think that they are good players, and will tell you script does nothing, nobody can script good decision making.

Problem is basic logic is apparently not taught anymore in public schools... Riot can do little about this.

p.s. i feel your pain. old habit die hard, and also it's a natural human behavior to react in some manner to people who you assume are on your side when they stab you in the back.

if your 'toxicity' included racst/sexist/homophobic comments, prolly not getting it back, but otherwise, I would give it a couple more shots with support. who knows Try appealing to their humanity.
