From honor 5 to banned for 2 weeks and dishonored

I was playing an unranked lvl 15 match with my friends, and I made a misplay. A random on my team called me retarded so i told him to f*** off. I know it wasn't the appropriate response, but then he reported me after and me and 2 of my friends got a 2 week ban on our accounts. I'm not fighting the charge, but i doubt the other person got any retaliation for instigating. Aint fair, feelsbad. Ive been a consistently honored player in most of my matches (support honors ftw)

Chat logs please?? You will absolutely NOT get a ban NOR even a CHAT restriction for saying "Fuck off". This isn't a banned word, and you ARE allowed to cuss in this game.
I've said that when on tilt and no ban, but I make sure I do NOT type anything else. However, you are NOT allowed to EXCESSIVELY cuss or swear. (the loading screen even says do not EXCESSIVELY curse). So you are hiding something from us. Post your UNEDITED chat logs. Either you spammed chat, had a 25 game chat restriction previously, or typed a banned word, or are completely lying to us. A LOT of people who post here lie their butts off to try to save their ego, or they go "oh i didn't know that was bad, cuz EVERYONE ELSE DOES IT ! (aka teenage fad words--gotta be POPULAR like all your buddies and spam death threats and homophobia) :/ But some actually (seem) to act genuine, and try to reform.

This isn't hockey. There isn't an instigator rule.

Everyone is responsible for their own behavior regardless of any other player behavior.

It's also neither your concern nor right to know how another player may or may not be punished. If you report punishable behavior, the IFS will take a look at it. And punishments will be doled out accordingly. If you have further concerns, submit a support ticket and they can be addressed.

And there you go. Homophobia. Twice. That's ALWAYS a 2 week ban. Saying %%%got ONCE "might" skirt the ban (if you typed absolutely NO other sentence period) unless something ELSE happens in the game (i know, because someone told me to kys, I reported him, no ban until 4 days later). But TWICE in the same game (or two banned words?).

Instant 2 week vacation.

I love the Riot style of justice. If somebody shoots you and you shoot him back in self defense, the other guy gets off scott free and you're charged with shooting somebody because you were the most recent person to do it. It just works!

That is considered a serious offense and will instantly bump you to 14-day ban status. Unless the instigator also used similar speech, he will probably just go through the regular penalization process, which is the 10 game chat restriction, 25 game chat restriction, 14-day ban and permaban.
