Muting Pings?

Grinding ranked, one might come to the conclusion that muting players is sometimes a really good advantage for your nerves. But whats even more annoying than negative chat messages is pingspam. Its possible to ignore the chat but the pings are really dominant, which they should be. The question is if there should be a seperate mute button for pings, simply because this is way more irritating than someone whishing eternal damnation on your soul or whatever creativity flows into todays toxicity. What are your thoughts?
