We all have to deal with asshats like that. 25% of games are unwinnable due to people like that, just accept it and move on to the next game is all you can do.

don't bother asking the boards this. All the mods are riot employees that either dont play the game competitively or do and only get qeued up with nice people becuase riot prioritizes their queue. They'll never empathize or agree with you, just give you the generic "just get over it" nonsense per the reply below. They don't care about normal people, so don't bother asking for understanding or an actual thoughtful solution.

edit: also exemplified by the fact that ppl are actually downvoting a simple question. wtf right? Yea.

There is so much wrongness and conspiracy in this comment, that deciding where to begin is tough. S'pose the order you present makes most sense.

Mods are community volunteers, not employees. Only compensation they get is boards flair and moderation tools.
Ranked isn't the only way to play competitively. Every match is competitive by definition. Whether that be "sweaty try hard" ranked, or "casual fun time" norms/ARAM.
By implying that mods only get matched with good behaving people, you inadvertently imply that a prisoner's island exists in one form or another. Since you can't effectively judge just by something like honor level.
Believe it or not, people can empathize and still not be able to do anything about it. It sucks when you get a troll or feeder. Need to vent about it? Go to Rant and vent. Mods, again, are NOT Riot employee's and therefore Can NOT go "Hold my Beer while I ban that shithead". The only action people can do is basically advise the healthy path. "Report them and move on." No player or mods on the boards have the power to do anything beyond that.

Based on my years of personal experience with this game I don't believe 1 or 3 to be true, at all, but hey, it would be bad PR for y'all to admit it so I don't expect you or any other mod to do so because riot, just like every other company, is ran through low key nepotism.

Ranked, by definition, is more competitive and you're confirming my point by A: calling ranked players sweaty tryahards and B: hilariously saying that norms/aram is a legitimately competitive playing field which its not, its mostly people trying to learn the game and players who are actually good raging at them for sucking. It's also hilarious that riot still hasn't fixed this problem thats existed since the beginning. "they should just stop raging". No, riot should realize that it's human nature and do a better job qeueing people up. Duh.
If there was empathy and ego-less feedback then there wouldn't be so much downvoting and banning done by the mods on comments and feedback they simply dont agree with. Again, low key fascism.

No matter what I tell you or show you, you will ignore it. You are set on believing that community volunteers get paid or special treatment in game.

I could show you the dictionary definition of competition. Which would show that every match is "competitive" by definition, even bot games. In case you missed the quotation marks in my first reply, no, I don't call people who play rank sweaty try hards. Just like I don't call people who play normals/ARAM normies/casuals. Why? Because all modes are competitive and you don't have to play a specific mode to have an opinion.

I'd be willing to bet that more often than not, the people having a conversation aren't even bothering to vote. Just because a response isn't in favour of an OP, does not mean it lacks empathy or even neutrality.

You are welcome to respond, but this will be my last on this comment chain as we are off topic of the OP i believe.

LOL I'm not talking about the definition of "competitive", I'm talking about the definition of "ranked" vs non-ranked, but it's cool, just like all the "specialists" who clearly need to take a critical thinking class or two, you only hear what you want and when you're put in a corner, you call upon your specialist buddies to downvote people and support you, or just defame the other person and leave (or ban them).

I ignored nothing you said, again making up lies. The irony is that you're pretty much describing yourself.
