Hey there, sorry you're having issues with your punishment. Could you share the Reform Card you receive upon logging into the client so we can review the chat logs with you? This will help us understand exactly what resulted in the punishment so you can be better advised upon the situation.

protecting yourself = hitting that mute button. Flaming back is lowering yourself to their level.

You don't get banned from protecting yourself. You get banned for flaming back.

LOL another legal threat. I love it when people who have not the slightest clue make legal threats. Do you have any idea how to file a lawsuit or deliver service in your juris?

"I messed up and broke ToS, they owe me anyhow!"

Protecting yourself would be muting and reporting the offending players.

You decided to retaliate.

Honey, as a lawyer, I know you're a bit lacking in cognitive abilities if you think you have standing to sue.

Once you say the "C" word (Court) Riot can no longer communicate with you and you will have to speak to their legal team to adress the issue you have.

Have fun with that.

You have protection. It's a mute button.

Anastaecia2 votes

I thought you were going to say you used the mute button, but then you probably wouldn't have gotten banned.

or this will just get taken to court,

You don't want that.

Mute button op, and take riot to court just to lose even more? its a game dude.

Too many players equate being in a game with a toxic player with being in a fight. It's more accurate to say you're walking by someone whose hands are tied, and they can only speak to you. They aren't willing to change when you speak to them. So your options are to converse with them or put ear plugs in. Choose the latter next time.

thing is two wrongs don't make it right. if you flamed back you are just as likely to be punished as them. mute and not replying or killing with kindness are the best ways to "fight back"

I think this speaks for itself tbh.

Since ive followed the TOS and everything, you have no reason to ban me and that will probably just be a loose of a million $+

BeatzBoyFTW11 votes

You defend yourself by muting them, not talk shit back at them. So therefore, you still broke it.

you have no reason to ban me and that will probably just be a loose of a million $+

Yeah, I heard this exact same line from the last 9999th permabanned player, and instead, Riot garnered 1 million more players.

Own yours. No Rioter will reply to this post now, same with any support ticket you mentioned this in. From here on out it's your lawyers and Riot's lawyers.

You might want to watch this. This is what happened when someone tried to sue a game critic.

DarkRitual1 votes

Flaming in response is not an excuse. If you said things, YOU are responsible for what YOU said. Good luck finding a lawyer who would take your case. It's a literal dead end waste of time for them.
