So just played against the most toxic person ever. Unfortunately I reported them before they got even more toxic in the after game... here is the nice things they had to say about me:

I feel like the report should be fine even if you did it before the chat got worse. But I don't know.

Don't ever call for a report on someone even if, no especially if they deserve it. Calling for reports is considered harassment and you just gave the toxic player a valid reason to have you punished.
