We need mote information. Was it a punishment or is it a security ban? What does it say when you try logging in? Does it provide chat logs or simply say something?

I doubt it was a security ban, I think those are limited time too.

Nope. Security bans stay untill Riot can confirm that you are the owner of the account. Having them go away after a while automatically, would ruin the entire idea of having such a ban.

ah, ok then. I thought it was that way because a friend of mine had an account shield banned and it said he was banned for ~3 months

If your account is suspended because of toxic activity, you cannot get unbanned. If you wish to keep playing League, you need to start a new account for that. And if you don't want to get suspended with that account too, you need to stop being toxic.

If your account is suspended because of security matters or because of an error, you need to contact support to get the situation cleared. The link to the support is at the top of these boards.
