He was playing kha zix and followed our jungler everywhere smiting his buffs

they were both level 3 by the time bot reached 5

we didn't have a toplaner aperently

He did single handedly boycot the game but its still kind of shitty that he got banned for one game.

I mean i'm constantly reporting people but i never thought that they would actually get banned lol.

i mean everyone has a shitty game so now and then. sure he was intentionally ruining the match but we all break some times.

We were all being immature about it too. We couldv just ignored it but most of us got pretty mad. Wich made him buy only tears. I reported him for a bunch of things and so did alot of people. even though he was only intentionally feeding.

i just don't like the idea that he might loose his account pernamently. I mean its not like he was bronze or silver, that account was plat v so he should have a number off skins on it.

If its somewhat possible i would like to drop my report on him. I think anyone acts like a dick in this game from time to time.

Has anyone else felt like shit when a player they reported actually got banned? Ive reported alot of people (don't we all ) over the past years. but this is the first time someone actually got banned for it.

Sure, everyone will have bad games from time to time. I know I have. However, it generally takes multiple games of bad behavior before someone gets punished. People only get punished for a single game if their behavior was particularly extreme (ex. death threats, racism, homophobia, hate speech, etc.).

If you received the notification that a player you reported was punished, that means they were punished by the Instant Feedback System, which then means that this player very likely exhibited unacceptable behavior in multiple games before this one, and your report just happened to be the final straw, so to speak.

Ive reported alot of people (don't we all ) over the past years. but this is the first time someone actually got banned for it.

I'd say that this is probably false. You only receive a notification that someone you reported was punished if your report happened to be the final report that triggered the punishment. If you report someone and then a few games afterwards someone else reports that same player, and then that player gets punished. you will not receive the notification. Because of this, I'd say it's very likely that there are at least some players that you have reported in the past that have been punished, you just don't know about it.

No, really, we don't. Some of us realize that we have no right to ruin the fun time of nine other people.

You don't get banned from a single game, no matter how many reports. He would have had to do it over and over for him to get banned. So don't feel bad about it. Actually, feel a bit happy. There are probably a lot of people who wished he was banned for the many, many games he ruined, and you helped them do it. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Scary thought for you to chew on, you probably helped lots of people get banned, you just never got the message. Since that message is only sent to the person who reported was the last report before the player was punished. So if the person was just having a bad day, the report wouldn't really have done anything to him.

Also, intentionally feeding is quite distracting, I mean, if you were mean in chat, fine, dick move, but it's one thing to bounce some words around that could be prevented (muted) and it's quite another to force a lose from your team and trampling all over their hard work laning and playing.

I don't feel bad if my Report results in a ban. One single report is extremely unlikely to result in a ban (unless in the most extreme of toxicity cases so even then they need punishment). It wasn't just your one game. They'd been toxic in many games.

Ummm. I think it takes more than just your single report to ban someone. I don't know, but they probably have gotten into lots of trouble in the past. I wouldn't feel that bad about it. They brought it on themselves. If they're innocent then maybe they will get it reverted. I think that's happened before.

Jesus Christ man, are you bipolar or have multiple personalities? Why are you reporting people who you don't feel deserve to be punished? The fuck man.

I report everyone I think the Tribunal AI will pick up. What you're feeling right now is trollers remorse. Just tell yourself you did it for the lulz and move on.

If he got banned and you dont think what he did was that bad it means he already had strikes on him for offenses in other games.

I think Riot should be more lienant handing out bans in non-ranked games. because alot of people go into normals, ARAM etc to blow off some steam, have fun, try some off meta shenanigans. now obviously you dont wanna ruin the game for everyone else that is trying. so they should still be punished. but riot doesnt have to be so quick to ban people. give some warnings, and if something happens 6+ months later the warning should re-set and they get another warning. etc.

anyways, gg wp
