Who else just turns off ingame chat?

I only play TFT and ARAM, more so in ARAM I find that people think its ok to shout abuse at anyone who is a bad player or having a bad game or whatever.

So instead of reporting everyone that shouts abuse i just turn off ingame chat its so much more peaceful and stops me responding in a toxic manner myself, its a shame as this is supposed to encourage teamwork and being social. Anyone else do this? or have i just hit a point where im just that fed up of keyboard warriors in chat?

I don't turn it off because I like to know who is being toxic so I can report them. And I like to know when a teammate is gonna intentionally not help me. Usually they say this in chat so I know that if they are near, they aren't gonna help me if an enemy jumps on me. But yeah, other than that, the in game chat is useless to me. Most of the time, people have nothing nice to say or important for gameplay.

yea nobody has anything worthwhile to say or ping in 4fun modes, so i always /fullmute all in ARAM, blitz, URF, etc.

It's almost always better to just /mute all as soon as any game starts, ARAM or ranked or otherwise.

There's absolutely no reason to talk to anyone at all in this game beyond champ select.
