SO I GOT BANNED FOR THIS?????? WHAT THE ACTUAL **** DID I SAY WRONG? If im not getting my account unbanned right now im gonna quit this shit game that doesnt allow me to play just because i did what? And btw kayn said "kys" and "kill yourself" several times.

Edit: So i guess riot doesn't like players who are not toxic and that are respecting the summoner's code and encouraging others to report a player who isn't respecting it? ok, good bye league of legends

it's not your job to encourage summoners to do anything

when encountering a flamer your mission to dealing with it is ignore/mute >> report>> move on.

that's all you have to do

if you do anything more then you are breaking the rules

I'm afraid you are the person mistaking how the system works.

There is no need to ask for reports as 1 report = 9 reports. It's purposely programmed that way to prevent premade teams from abusing that poor solo dude. So you repeating all that stuff just harms yourself.

That said, you can try to submit a ticket to https://support.riotgames.com and ask them to review the punishment. Depending on your behavioral history, they may change the punishment.

Regardless of what happens, do go asking for reports in the future, and especially don't go repeating zero tolerance phrases.

Yep i deserve a game ban for something i did in the chat, typical league of legends player with 50iq And of course im insulting this community, you guys deserve it, defending somebody who harrassed me. And that s the real harras: saying "kys" not encouraging people to report somebody who said it, that s not called harras.

it doesn't matter how many people report you. be it 1 report or 9, riot will only generate ONE investigation. if the player broke the rules then a punishment will follow. if not then no punishment

you could literally be reported by all 9 other players every time you join a game for the entirety of season 8 and you still wouldn't be banned if you did nothing wrong. mob justice is not a thing!

The report feature isn't there so you can taunt them with the system, rub their faces in it, or attempt to get everyone to alienate another player because you don't like what they did.

It's there so you can report people.

I mean, if you got banned by a single instance like that then you have constantly acted toxic and already racked up penalties before. But ii do not believe that this is ban worthy in itself.

But expecting a 14 day ban on someone for saying "kys" is a bit delusional.

I implied that saying just "kys" then being silent would probably not get you a 14 day ban if you had no previous punishments. He deserved a punishment but that due to his repetitive negative behaviour and overuse of "kill your self"

that's technically innacurate

people have reformed before after the 2 week ban to the point they got it again a few times after some time

punishments are based on two questions:

Was he toxic?

Did he get punished recently and which punishment was it?

it's an easy rethoric to follow:

the 10 game chat restriction is based on wether you cared more about your ego than about the game.

the 25 game chat restriction is based on wether you cared more about your ego than about the game AND on wether you were already punished with a 10 game chat restr

the 2 week ban is based EITHER on wether you cared more about your ego than about the game AND on wether you were already punished with a 25 game chat restr OR wether you used 0 tolerance slurs

the perma triggers if you are toxic after the two week ban. it doesn't matter how toxic. any type of negative behaviour will do, ranging from name calling, to score shaming, to harassment, to slurs

you are able to reform on the punishment ladder if you display no toxic behaviour after your last punishment. but it takes a while...

There has been instanced of old aggravating factors lasting over years on reformed players, so the system mustn't be that good. But what i mean't is that you can only be banned permanently once, as he said "this is my first ban" yet already admitted to a 14 day ban in one of my previous comments, so if we count both 14 day and permanent as bans that this be his second. Unless i misunderstood, i actually wish we would say "suspension" and "ban" to clarify which is which.

i'll have to but-in again because there's something to say about time:

the type of time that matters is game time

if you get a two week ban and then stop playing on the account for 3 years, when you return, you will still be at the same punishment level.

you need to play the game on the account without being toxic for the punishment level to drop

Kys is a zero tolerance word and it should result in instant 14 day ban straight after the game.

for example if you are toxic after finishing the 25 game chat ban, there will also be a 2 week ban
