I have a huge issue. Riot please respond.

I've already created a support ticket and that got me absolutely nowhere. I got some packaged and probably overused response that ended with, "If you need anything else please let us know."

I have 2 accounts permabanned. One of them is the one I'm posting with right now, tshum94. And the other one is "That feeder tho". However apparently the name of that one is now "Wrath of Zed".

My issue with these accounts being perma'd is that I have NOT played since the end of 2016/very beginning of 2017. One of my friends told me about the updates that have taken place and I figured I would give it a go again. I went to go log in after reinstalling the client and the password was changed. I then requested to change my password. I went to my email to log into it and follow the link to change it, and my email password was wrong. I had to change that as well so I could change the password for my League account. I get through that fiasco and find that my summoner name is not what I left it as. So I go to check my second account and I have the same issue, minus the name being changed.

I have support tickets from both accounts that I did not put in between some time in 2017 and now. I also have two emails that I used on these accounts that I have since stopped using because I had to create a new account for work that I made my go to account.

The fact that you guys don't listen to someone with a problem with your game and the security of it is, frankly, appalling. I spent money on this account. Money that in turn supports your paycheck while working for Riot games. You would think that as the people that are supposed to help solve problems, you would put a little more effort into it.

I apologize for coming off heated, but 2 of my accounts were cracked and then perma'd. And it seems nobody in this company is willing to hear me out or help me.

Edit: What I said in my ticket.

"I have no clue whats going on....

I haven't played League of Legends since the beginning of 2017. I reinstalled the client after seeing the new updates and figured I would give it a go again. Went to log on and my password for what was my main wasn't what I left it. I KNOW that I didn't change it because I used the same password on most of my accounts for games that I play. Steam and Blizzard games specifically. I figured out how to reset my password, I go to log on and see whats going on... Both of my accounts are Perma'd. My account name was even changed... I believe my account name was "That Feeder Tho", however below where it says "Summoner Name" I'm going to put the one that is currently on there, because I assume that it will be easier for you to find the actual account that way. I also don't remember the exact day that the account was created because that was 4 years ago, but I know about right around the time I created it. I see these tickets that were submitted and uhh... they aren't from me. I can't even see the details of the tickets because they're "blocked for security reasons" or something like that. What is going on? I'd like to know how and why this happened. I've NEVER shared this account. I have NOT touched it in more than a year."

What the Rioter said:

"Hey there,

My name is R****, and I'll be your support today.

I've taken a look into this account for you, but I do not see any signs of compromise on the account.

I can help you with a password reset for the account, but your account has been permanently banned for negative behavior in game, so the account cannot be played anymore even with a password reset.

If you would like to discuss this suspension, just let me know and I can send you to our Player Behavior team to discuss this suspension with you.

R**** Riot Games Player Support "The truth is out there."

I censored the name because I don't want to play any one specific person on blast because I would assume Riot tells all their employees to say this to people trying to appeal a ban.

Can you post the response from support in its entirety? We can't really help you figure out what the problem is just by your collection of events.

You are responsible for what happens on YOUR account. Riot can't take responsibility for what happens because YOUR email was compromised.

Sometimes they'll prematurely ban accounts with suspicious activity (after contacting support, you'd know if that was the case for you), but anyone can claim they were hacked AFTER they got banned.

It's not that people are unwilling to listen, it's that it wouldn't change the outcome either way. I understand it's frustrating but quite frankly there isn't much to do. You can keep in contact with support, but if they told you nothing could be done then that's it.

Sorry, but there isn't anything we or Riot can do about it :/

I used the same password on most of my accounts for games that I play

This is a very bad thing to do.

Hygiene is defined as the conditions or practices conducive to maintaining health and preventing disease, especially through cleanliness. So basic physical hygiene includes things like brushing your teeth or wiping your behind.

Basic security hygiene (the conditions or practices conducive to maintaining account security and preventing loss or damage) would be things like never reusing passwords, never write down your passwords in a location where others can find it (example: post-it note on the computer), never share your password with anyone, and create a strong password.

Take a little bit more care of your account. And, really, go change all of your passwords for every other account right now. If this password was compromised, then every other account is also compromised.

Hmmm... you can ask them to forward you over the to fraud department and ask if they can see any signs of compromise around the date of when you left the game.

While it is possible that you have really been hacked, it is also possible that you have given that account to a friend. If it is the latter, then you wont get yo u account back.
