I got a 14 day suspension for this???

I was banned for 14 days and my last ever restriction was a 15 game chat restriction, and it went straight to 14 days. And I dont think this 1 game was at all enough for even a chat restriction. Like this banning system is very harsh. The last time I had a chat restriction was a long time ago. And it was when I just got really frustrated in a ranked game and felt that the person that was inting needed to be talked down to, and I apolagize for that. But I dont think these chats are worth a 14 day suspension, probly not even a chat restriction.. We were just having banter about champions in the game and how they should be played, and I was trying to educate the Gangplank in this game on how to better improve (I know it was in a harsh way but not enough for a 14 day ban! God damn, do you ever stop talking in games? I don't think I've written that many lines of text ALL YEAR, nevermind one game. Most of it is just spam and trash talking your opponents and allies.

And who are you to trash talk anyone? For someone that supposedly has 2 million mastery points on Draven, you sure aren't very good at him. Nice 36% win rate and 11.3 deaths per game... holy buckets of Bronze.

Ways to avoid getting banned in the future

  • Talk Less
  • Practice More
  • Don't tell others how to play until you're actually good at the game and even then, don't do so the way that you did.

Yeah, I already addressed that thread.

I'll be respectful to those that earn it. An individual with no awareness of their own misbehavior in games does not fall into that category.

I gave solid advice.

Right, I'm pointing out that the OP is in no position to say what he did based upon his own position. You may disagree with how I said it, but that's really the message here.

But hey, go ahead and attack me---the moderators removed my post as well, which is fine... the intended audience saw it and that's what I cared about. I didn't "rank shame", I just said "holy buckets of Bronze" to someone that dies 12 times per game on a champ for whom they have 2 million mastery points. I'd say that to a Challenger player that averaged 12 deaths a game as well. It has nothing to do with rank, it has to do with how the person played.

I wish you could see the GP all game. Calling the jg trash and the jg was my duo, same with the support. And GP called the jg trash fro not ganking when the GP was 2/14 at 20min. And the twitch went to gank once at 4min and got GP a kill but GP threw the lead, And I just got mad because I was already tilted from past games. Its a rare occasion I flame somebody or type in chat at all. I typed after 25min and only for 5min, I sat in base for flaming him.. I was thinking I would get a suspension but I never got a 25 game cat restriction is how its suppose to work... Because my last ever infraction was a 10 game.

Well, first.. YOu didn't get a 14 day ban for this one game, you got a 14d ban for continued misbhehaviour. You got it, because you still didn't stop flaming after your CR. 2nd... This game is very toxic. Do that again, and you will receive a permanent ban. That perma will most likly come after one single further game with flame.

In your games maybe. But that's not a suprise, considering you are in them. IF you yourself are toxic (and you are) you are ofc much more likly to encounter this behaviour. If you aren't the one who starts it (i know. you people never do...) you are definitly very likly to increase the toxicity in the game with your responses.

Seriously, you can insist its normal and everything, but thats not gonna prevent your perma.

If you were to see what the GP was typing the whole damn game, I started typing after 25min, the GP was 2/14 at that point and I was trying to carry as Talon which i got pretty lucky and was doing very well.. And the GP wouldent sit under tower and kept making stupid plays like tp'ing on Riven. And dying immediately.

There's a difference between giving someone suggestions and telling them how to play. You shouldn't be telling people how to play, and you especially shouldn't be insulting other players when they don't take your suggestions or don't play like you want.

The punishment system here works like this: 10 game chat restriction, 25 game chat restriction, 14 day ban, permanent ban. If you keep on doing things worth punishing, the system punishes more the next time. Please be careful with your words and actions from here on out or the next punishment will be a permanent ban.

So, you were given an earlier chat restriction and then straight to a 14-day, correct? If I may ask, when did you get off the chat restriction? They tend to escalate if you're using hate-speech (which is NOT here) or if you have multiple reports so close to a previous punishment.

If I may also make a suggestion: when you come back to the game, avoid any banter that isn't specifically about teamwork plans or just stick to smart pings. Your exchange with GP is unnecessary; if you're trying to tilt someone, just do it with your gameplay and occasional mastery flashing, don't chat for a while until you feel like you can do it without insulting people.

I agree, while this is certainly negative and you could do better, it doesn't seem like it should be enough to punish you on it's own.

Having already had a number of chat restrictions, the system doesn't give leeway. This chat log was definately reportable. By itself it likely woundn't trigger a first or second offense, but this is several steps past that.

I say this a lot but if you spent more time actually playing the game rather than typing anything at all your games may be or feel different Soooo much time is wasted bt people because they feel the need to bash their keyboard every 10 seconds
