Why do you Dodge?

Hello, so recently, I started dodging more frequently to get out of situations I would get stuck in if I get in a game. Like for an example, in a norms game, you get someone who didn't get the role they want and they spam "____ plz". And when they don't get what they want, they start being obnoxious. Another example is when I found myself in a bad team comp full of squishies against a really good one, so I dodge. Because I don't want to be in these situations I just can't solve, I'd rather have a 15 min dodge queue than be in a 30 - 80 minute game where I lose because of these factors.

Now I wanna ask, why do you dodge?

I dodge in ranked if my teammates pick ezreal. I understand he has the potential to be good, but in my low elo I never see one do well with him.

If it's a normal game, I'll usually only dodge if I have a particular champion that I want to play and it gets picked/banned. If it's a ranked game, I'll only dodge if someone is trolling (which non-toxic players shouldn't be forced to do) or if they just have a way better team comp.

Only when I know I can't commit to a game's duration.

I dodge in normals if I don't get the champion/role I want.

I don't. Ever. Except if it's a skill shot, then I dodge it with impunity.

I only dodge if it takes too long to get into a game and realize I've run out of time to make sure I an complete a game. Or if I wasn't paying attention and miss picking/locking my champ.
