Unfair Punishment

I tried to start a normal solo queue game by my self hoping to practice Ezreal. Everything went fine, my random teammates seemed nice and cheerful and it seemed like we were in for a fun match. After bans were finished it was my turn to pick my champion. As I search for his picture a notice pops up and it reads, "You have been disconnected. Attempting to Reconnect." My timer winds down and I end up being kicked for the queue and being timed out a for a short time. I play with the lowest setting and do everything I can to have a secure and reliable connection, but if it gets dropped it's not my fault. I didn't want it to, so why should I get punished for something I have no control over? I don't know if something like this could get my account banned for leaving queues like that but that would be unfair to someone who did nothing wrong.
