I recently got banned on this account because of certain things I said during the match, But I don't remember any of the things i said to be in all-chat and all the people that were on my team were premade with me and in teamchat, and I don't have a mic so I type in chat. Why did i get banned?
RallerenP4 votesYou wont get banned unless one of them reported you. So one of your friends reported you, and got you banned. IIRC Riot once unbanned a guy after all his friends reported him, but that was a special case where they all retracted their reports by writing to a Rioter.
DrCyanide4 votesAs I recall it was also special because his teammates didn't report him, it was his 5 friends in a premade on the other team who reported him.

I just looked up the case. They were playing 5v5 where all the players in the match knew eachother.
Tantram only let him go because it was only the enemy team that reported him, it was the enemy team that posted on his behalf and also apologized and stated they were feeling extremely bad, the player had no previous offences, and they all rescinded their reports within 3 days.

Riot decided that robots are better than humans when it comes to deciding what is civil.
Just don't say anything in game because enemies rage report post game when they lose, and you get punished despite not being toxic.

There is not 1 excuse for flaming. There are reasons but none acceptable.
Remember: Toxicity is not a display of emotion, it's a lack of self-control. If you lack the self-control to not flame, no matter what context, Riot doesn't want you in the game. But context does matter. It was not the systems fault his friends abused the report system. (If that is really what happened, they might actually have been honestly offended and reported him).
The IFS is forgiving for very rare moments of people slipping up and saying something they regret.

If you're playing with friends and make remarks to each other that you would normally say, what is the issue?
I'm not saying toxicity is excusable, but if you're among friends and you drop slurs, then its fine.
Abusing people sucks, but swearing and offensive content is fine if you know the people reading it will not take offense.
Enemies reporting someone for toxicity should only take all chat in to account, simple as that.
RallerenP2 votesThing is, if only enemies reported him and he had said nothing in all chat, he wouldnt have been punished. The system is smarter than that. Either he flamed in all chat and the enemies reported him, or he, jokingly or not, flamed his team and one of his friends, jokingly or not, reported him. That is the only way he got punished.

I mean, your logs below are certainly enough to trigger a ban. If you kept them to only your team's chat, then your opponents would have had no reason to report you... which implies to me that at least one of your friends isn't as comfortable with your use of slurs as you think they are.
Imperial Pandaa1 votesPost chat logs and we can discuss which points you should probably avoid doing. It doesn't matter if you are in a premade or not. If you are saying offensive things, and get reported for some reason (whether your premade was joking or maybe you offended one of them) the game gets logged by IFS.
My advice, don't say offensive stuff in chat. Even if you are in a premade. Respond to questions or don't say anything at all.

Imperial Pandaa1 votes%%%% is typically used to block hate speech/slurs. That is probably the basis of the ban with someone from your team reporting as a joke.
My advice, just watch what you say. If you want to agree with what is being said in voice. Be indirect with it.

AJStarhiker1 votesI can also remember people receiving bans due to 'joke' reports because they didn't think reporting did anything.
Thing is, bans don't go out if there's nothing for the system to find.
I don't remember that premade case, but I would bet if there had been even one random person in that game, the punishment would not have been rescinded.
