Newer player ( few months max ) How do i deal with flamers?

I recently came out of a ranked game where I was flamed by almost every member of my team. They had conflicting things that they wanted me to do and each one would get angry if I didn't listen to them. I'll be the first to admit, I didn't play my best, and that I'm still learning more advanced things to do while I play. However I do know how to play my character ( I was Leona ) I was constantly being flamed that game, and my performance wasn't horrible, id died 6 times and participated in 11 kills, our team as a whole wasn't doing good but almost everything was blamed on me. If I told someone they did a good job, I was told to shut up. I tried to keep a positive attitude but after a game like that I really don't want to play ranked ever again, or solo q by myself for a while. I'm even feeling like I want to take a long break from league, even though I enjoy it greatly.

I cant get any better when my only feedback is "You're retarded" One of the people flaming me was gold tier too so it wasn't just random jerk bronzies. if this is in even gold division, How do I deal with flamers like this? and ( besides guides and videos which Ive watched ) How do I get better despite them?

thanks,

I usually only run ranked or games with friends and if I'm daring into solo Que i just mute everyone. Makes the game a lot less toxic for everyone.

not letting it get to you.. not having thin skin.. trolling them back (hint: trolling, not flaming)

if the above 3 are impossible to you, press Tab and mute the offenders..

I tend to control myself and not stoop to their level, simply ignore them. Muting will help a lot. I know this feeling because right before I went to work I was being flamed by three of my team mates. Any mistake they made was put on me for some reason (yes I did finish game if anyone was wondering). When I feel like not playing league I try going to like aram because there isn't or isn't as much toxicity in that game mode and it's really refreshing.

You're stuck @ low division, where ppl don't care about winning.

My advice is to climb high enough to the point where you're playing with ppl who actually try to win but not high to the point where your opponents are too much for you. Just like how you run into flamers, your opponents are likely to run into flamers as well. If you make yourself a useful contributor of the team you'll climb eventually, the only matter is how long you'll suffer before that happens.

Here's a bit of hope for you though. I did my 10 placements, got placed in silver IV. However, perhaps because I won several times against opponents with high mmr, after one match I received a notice saying that I'm automatically raised to silver II.

Focus on the game, mute teammates if they're having negative feedbacks, perform as best as you can, and you may be rewarded alike.

Well if you truly want to get better then get a group of people that want to learn as much as you do and practice together.

ahh.. my friend, you missed the good days. There used to be a time when teammates and even enemy teammates would lend you tips if they saw you struggling with your champion, or even if you asked.
