As someone who's been drunk and made poor choices, I believe their system is pretty solid. It does (eventually) harshly punish negative players. And it also allows those players to save face and recover over time so their account is not always on the chopping block for a permaban.

I have had many times where I get too wasted and eventually get the 5, 10, 30 match chat bans; or 5, 10 match lower priority queues. And after weeks of being a less toxic player, my account is in better standing.

Well there could be a few reasons why said person who inted did not get banned.

1: It was their first time. Normally riot trys to find 2 or more games to ban somebody on but they TYPICALLY will not ban them after the first game.

2: Said person did not make it obvious that he was inting. If people just run it down mid without saying anything and just go for it for 2-3 kills it normally will not get the intire enemy team to report them and just you reporting will not get someone banned. Think about it, it would be retarded for someone to report another player and instantly get them banned. Also thousands of games are being played in this game every hour. You really think that riot can monitor every single game LUL.

Riot doesn't give a shit about anything but toxicity. It's fucking stupid because feeding ruins more games than toxic players do but they are worried about the scratch on their arm and not the broken fucking leg they are trying to stand on.

the reporting system does work, it just does a horrible job in letting you know that it did something. The post game reporting system is indeed the best way to report someone. There is no need to send extra screen shots to Riot, they already have all the chatlogs (including pre/post game chat) and the gameplay videos.

Currently, you'll only get a notification if the game you reported the person in was that game that got them punished. If they got punished later down the road, you'll never get to know.

Riot is aware of this problem, but they have to do some ground work first by completing the new client. When they do start working on the system's visibility, hopefully we can get something like this.
