The system does its checks? Its an automated system, takes 0 context of anything else that happened in the game. And it does justify it, because people can report you for anything and get banned. Why do you think there have been a massive influx of appeals since the start of this year? I got chat banned for having a friendly banter with someone about the game state, and i called a champion that someone picked on my team bad, i laughed when i saw that in the chat logs, i was astonished. That was the only game on the chat logs, i know countless people who get suspended for simply not saying anything in game because you can be reported for not communicating. So now we are essentially forced to say what they want us to say. Am i supposed to tell someone whos going 0-12 in lane that they are doing so damn well, and they deserve a medal? No im gonna tell them they are playing like shit and they need to pull it together. And you want to know what the saddest part about that is? I cant even say that, because apparently this game is full of children and cant take any form of criticism.
Further proof of it being based on number of reports and only that, none of the accounts in my last game got punished, yet all 5 on the enemy team were extremely toxic, more than what i have gotten 14 day suspended for, towards one of my teammates for just playing poorly...So dont give me this PR crap from riot, its obvious its an automated system that bases only on number of reports, nobody looks at them, it is a system, and a very flawed one at that. You want even more proof? A singed main got banned for picking singed support and not building sightstone, why? Because his teammates were triggered by his pick and reported him... HE DID NOTHING WRONG, NOTHING AGAINST TOS! That is how flawed this system is, oh and btw, you know what Riot told him? That he has to build a sightstone as support, and they dont control bans.
Personally ive been playing voice chat games for the longest time, tilt is not something that happens after you are 1-10 and being flamed for it, you are long past tilt at that point because you are already playing like total trash. People need to man up and accept what little banter comes their way, its very few and far between that someone actually tells someone to kill themselves, or tells someone to uninstall, or that they are utter trash, i see that so rare, and its the only thing i will report. And honestly, no part of the TOS is broken by telling someone to stop making stupid decisions, or trying to explain why their decision was bad.
Its not that i dont think toxicity should be punished, its that i think toxicity (the word) has been warped to serve insecurity. It used to be if someone went really overboard, now its anything negative ever, and that is just wrong. League has really become this childish that you cant even negatively criticize someone for a massive mistake they made when they are trying to blame the team for it... This is why it needs to be in the hands of Rioters themselves, and not in the hands of the people. They can hold true to TOS, the automated system doesnt care about that.
One last thing, the last few chat bans i have had, they have been over telling someone they made a bad play, if people cant even accept that kind of criticism, why do they play? I didnt realize that riots system completely negated the fact that you can only be banned by a breach of TOS, yeah, every account that has ever been banned 14 days or permabanned for toxicity is unfairly banned, because they didnt breach TOS unless they were racist or told someone to kill themselves. How can you defend a system that doesnt even follow the game's rules? The system should only ban in those two circumstances, because those are the only times where someone cant just click mute and forget about it, those are personal attacks. What happened to the days where you could have a bit of negative banter between teammates... League is the only game in creation that bans accounts for being slightly negative, and that is why the game is going downhill fast.
