I wrote kys twice.

Riot takes stuff like this VERY seriously. Zero-tolerance. The punishment for this and hate speech is a 14 day suspension on the first offense.

They diden't 2 years ago where people never got perma banned or 14 day. I guess times change

Actually, confirmed cases of wishing self harm have always, since tribunal, resulted in escalated punishments - either massive numbers of chat restrictions or instant bans (depending on the system at the time).

What has changed is players think because they’re using an acronym it’s suddenly okay to tell someone to commit suicide. It’s not, never has been, and never will be.
